Joan Rivers Lavish Luxury Sequin Scarf

Purchased 4 of these...One purple for a wrap over a purple dress for a wedding, gold and silver & rose for inside colar of coats and wraps on jackets. Tehy are delightful...Thankyou Joan

I purchased the Rose and the Gold, but also wanted the Silver, but that was sold out. I'm really glad I did, because I was well prepared ahead of the holidays. I liked the length, but I think I would have liked it just a little wider as I am a full figured woman that likes to have my upper arms hidden. Otherwise, it is a perfect and reasonably priced way to dress up an outfit.

I ordered the black sequin shawl thinking that it would be a nice compliment as an cover piece for several sleeveless black dresses. The dimensions were of a very nice size and it gave good coverage. But I found the shawl quite scratchy against the skin, and for that reason alone I would not be able to wear it. I also found that the sequins did not take much of a rub to release. I had to pick up quite a few off my white rug in the few minutes that it took to take out of the bag, wrap it around the dress, and fold it to put back into the bag to return. I had mixed feelings on the design. As another customer stated, it had a spanish influence to it with the deeply scalloped edging. It was just too much between the sequins and the scallops. And I do like wearing sequins.

Difficult to rate when something just isn't for you but might be 5 stars for someone else. Your first reviewer, 'Love Clothes' says it all for me, I thought the same regarding Spanish Church with a touch of flamenco. I live off the west coast of Canada and we tend to dress a little less glitzy so I sent it back, hoping it would find a more appreciative home.

Nothing wrong with this at all. It just looked too Spanish-church for me and I wasn't thrilled with it. I didn't keep it because I KNOW there will be much more to come from Joan's line that I will love without question. That's what I look for when I shop. It must say WOW all the way and without doubt.

I just received my lavish, sparkly blue scarf and it could not be more beautiful. It will work well as an accompaniment shawl with my navy satin evening gown. The scarf is stunning with its multitude of sequins and it drapes beautifully. It is simply gorgeous and I feel like a princess when I wear it. It is the perfect addition to a dressy wardrobe.

I jusr received mine in black. Yes it is a beautiful scarf but too flashy for me so it will have to be returned.
