Joan Rivers Soft Knit Slim Skirt

Great style and fabric. Yep order one size down and you will be fine. This is a classic and I will be able to wear this for a very long time.

I normally purchase clothing from higher end stores and this is a better than average value for the price.

Because I really loved the colors of watermelon and periwinkle, I ordered yet again this skirt -in those colors in different sizes- XL and 1X-because size 2X was too too big.
I ordered the matching jackets as well-which did not fit well.
This skirt does not hang very well on me in either size--the material in both the skirt and jacket is not heavy but it has a heavy feel to it, thus making it uncomfortable.
I wanted this skirt/suit to work for me, but it
definitely does not.
The colors are the only thing I liked about this skirt and jacket.

I found the fit was good for me. The fabric has a nice texture and the lining is a nice touch. You would be pleased with this skirt as it is versatile and attractive for a busy lifestyle. It also launders well.

I ordered this skirt in the khaki color and a size down, but it still hangs on me like a bag!
The color khaki has a rather very dull yellowy cast to it.
I thought this skirt would be a nice neutral color to wear with some colorful tops and jackets, but it is not as nice as I thought it would be.
Even my nude color hose clashes with the skirt color.
Also the material puckers at the side-thus making it totally unsuitable!

I ordered this skirt along with the matching jacket and they were both huge in the 2X size!
The skirt almost fell off me, and I feel even with the smaller size it would not be a good fit with the draping of the material.
Actually the skirt looks big on Kelly in the picture.
I love the color watermelon which is more like a bright pinkish coral.
But the material while being a nice light-weight fabric is also one which will not wear well-the material can easily catch on something--so will not be re-ordering in a smaller size.
Am disappointed yet again with Joan's fashions as the sizing is not consistent.

I love Joan's clothes. This skirt washes easily and comfortable to wear. This is the 4th skirt of Joan's and I will continue to purchase this style.

I bought it with the matching showstopper jacket. Unfortunately, the skirt is too large, but as long as I wear it with the jacket closed, it will be all right. My advice is buy a size down.

This skirt is very well made and the finishing is very good. The fit is good and it goes with many of my other jackets as well as the matching jacket that was the showstopper.
