Joan Rivers Tiered Ruffle Trim Cardigan

I first purchased this cardigan in "leopard" and liked it so much that I ordered the "black" as well.

It's beautifully made and finished with obvious attention to detail. The ruffles, which lay perfectly flat, add a unique and lovely touch. The buttons are sewn on well and Joan kindly thought to provide an extra one just in case. And I really like the 3/4-length sleeves. The fabric is very soft... warm but light enough to wear all year-round. And it's appropriate for dressing-up with a slim skirt or slacks and for dressing-down with a pair of jeans. You can wear it with a long-sleeved top peeking out; slightly unbuttoned with a cami underneath; or on its own, buttoned-up as a top. Due to its versatility, I foresee getting a lot of wear out of this cardigan.

I regularly purchase size small in Joan's line - as I did with this cardigan. It's a wee bit on the generous size but I don't think I'd want to go down a size to XS because I'm concerned that the placket wouldn't lie as perfectly flat as it now does on the small.

Overall, this is a fabulous sweater at a fabulous price! Bravo, Joan!

I ordered the black and love the style and the softness. Just enough ruffle not overboard. I love that the ruffle lays flat. Easy to wear and am thinking it will look great when summer comes with white slacks as it is not too heavy. Thanks, Joan, another great top.

I'm not a frilly person, but this cardigan adds that little extra dressy touch. It's well cut, very soft and washes nicely. My first Joan Rivers clothing purchase and I will be considering more.

This is my first purchase from Joan Rivers and I am impressed.

This sweater is very well made. Not a thread hanging anywhere, finished beautifully. Also it is extremely soft and cozy warm. I know it will become one of my go to's already! A very high end looking cardigan and the ruffles are not overdone. Just right. I also like the 3/4 length sleeve.

It's so cozy I may get another at this price!

It is a generous fit. I ordered a medium (my usual size) but could get away with a small.

I have never bought any of Joan Rivers products until now when I purchased this sweater. I kept looking at it on the computer BUT was unsure of the ruffles, I am not a ruffle type person but I do like things that are different and not what you see in every store. When I first received it I was unsure because it reminded me of a clown top with the ruffles BUT the more I looked at it the more I liked it. If you are the person who does not want to look like every one else then this sweater is definitely for you. I bought the black and I am now wishing I would have bought one of the other colors also. Even with short arms the sleeves are the PERFECT length. This sweater will suit people of all ages including us seniors.
I did wash it by hand and squeezed the water out and then layed it down to dry (on a bath towel) and it only took a few hours to dry.
I am EXTREMELY HAPPY I bought this sweater and can't wait to wear it.

I purchased the leopard print and it is so lovely, its soft and classy looking. I was so impressed I ordered the black and as I am writing this thinking about the rose to , it will be a sweater I will go to all the time. The 3/4 sleeves are perfect for me since I am always pulling mine up, the ruffles add such a pretty look I am thrilled with this purchase. Thank you Joan and the shopping channel for such wonderful peices.

This sweater looked dressy and cute in the picture on SC so I purchased in rose and was so happy when I opened the package and tried it on. It fit perfectly and the colour is very becoming and the ruffles on the sleeves added an extra little element of class to it. I love, love, love it and I'm sure I'll get lots of wear on the cool days we are getting, plus it will be nice for winter too.

This is one of my favourite tops. I bought the animal print one. It is so cozy and warm to wear and very stylish also. I would recommend buying this top. I only wish I had of bought more when they were on sale.

This cardigan is so soft and comfy. I have it in every color. I must admit the pink one is my favorite. I feel pretty and feminine in it. It dresses up my jeans so I don't always look so casual. On colder days I wear a tank under it but it's not necessary. I can't wait to see what Joan brings next.
