I love this blender, makes the best smoothies ever and ive used a lot of blenders in the past, ( till they died) making smoothies.. id definitely recommend it.. but ive found it priced less at big box stores.. if you live in a small town and its convenient to have it delivered this is great, but if you can go out shopping, you will save quite a bit...
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Our family LOVES this beautiful blender!

This blender is so beautiful and simple to use. It's extremely powerful! And so easy to clean. We LOVE it!

I have been using the blender mostly for smoothies. I really love the quality. It is fairly quiet. The ease of cleaning it fantastic. It came with a smoothie Bible which has amazing recipes and ideas for many problems such as insomnia, back pain etc. I have a KitchenAid Mixer and it has never let us down and my wife was a professional cake decorator. So I imagine this blender will be true to the reliability of the brand.

First the good news, then the bad news
Five stars for this blender! The vortex design is so convenient. No more stopping the blender to scrape down the sides. I made some hummus and I could see the chick peas being drawn into the blade and the texture of the hummus when it was done was very smooth. This blender is not as noisy as most blenders. It's easy to clean. I thought cleaning would be a problem because the bottom doesn't come off, but it rinses clean very easily. I am very pleased with this purchase. The Smoothie recipe book (it's NOT a bible - the Bible does not have recipes in it)is just weird. There are so strange ingredients - acai berry pulp, fresh camomile flowers, hemp oil. Huh? The blender cookbook by the same publisher that TSC was also selling is much better. It is full of wonderful recipes.
