KitchenAid 13 Cup Food Processor with Bonus Accessory Pack

We have the previous 3 bowl size model, DO NOT LIKE THE DESIGN! Can not use for very much... cheap Proctor Silex model works better... the design of the centre makes it unusable for large quanities of liquid as they end up leaking out the centre of the machine. If the lid is not just exactly right then the machine will not start... you can take it apart and put back together many times before you get it to click right and turn on to slice. EXTRA LARGE HOLE TO FEED LARGER PIECES???? NO! you have to have things cut so short to get the locking mechanism of the feeder tube to engage that you still have to cut things into very small pieces.... so why bother to get out the machine in the first place. NOT HAPPY at all with this machine... have the extra attachments, and all the bells and whistles and still have NOTHING that enhances the machine that a single paring knife can't provide .... To use the small bowl, you end up washing all the machine bowls anyway.... VERY POOR DESIGN! To watch the video it looks wonderful... watched the whole commercial sales pitch... did not see the problems and limitations that this machine just oozes with. NOT IMPRESSED after hearing for so many years about how wonderful Kitchen Aid products were, I'm very disappointed!

The food processor was purchased as a Christmas present and exceeded our expectations, although there was a learning curve. We had the misfortune of broken disk adaptor and a broken drive adaptor. When we tried to find replacements we were shocked to learn that these parts were "No longer available" The machine is now collecting dust and is quite useless. What is th advantage of selling appliances for which no replacement parts are to be had. I will however keep trying

Purchased the Red and love the pop of colour in the kitchen. Great machine and the only fault I find is when preparing food it sometimes gets in the cover and you need a little brush to clean it before washing and/or when using small bowl that fits into larger bowl you have to wash both when using since food gets into bottom bowl as well.

It is a bit larger than I thought but love it anyway. Great product.

Wish KitchenAid had an alternative storage case just for all the blades so they could remain safely standing together and have easy view of which one you want.

This product arrived with the adjustable slicing blade broken. A phone call to Kitchenaid brought me to a person that barely spoke english, had no idea about the product or the problem and I ended up getting the wrong replacement in the mail. Another phone call to Kitchenaid and a different person that barely spoke english but he had a better way of ensuring I received the correct part this time. Finally got to try the machine and it is nice and quiet, works really well and the only other thing that was disappointing is, as one other person commented, when using the smaller bowl you still have to wash the main large one so kind of defeats the purpose. I wish this had come with the julienne blade also and that the storage container would hold more. Price was excellent though.

I bought this processor as a showstopper. It is a quiet and fast processor although I am not happy with the slicing blade -used it to make potatoe scallop and the slices were not consistent. Even when I adjust from thin to thicker it did not matter. Also when using this blade it was hard to get it started, had to make sure it was connected just the right way, even felt like I had to have the potatoe in the feeder just the right balance before the blade would start to cut.
The cover is also hard to get off, very tight, hard to turn to open.
I am hoping these events will get better with use/practice. However, I am impressed with all the accessories which came with it for the showstopper.

I love this food processor. It has made my food and my life so much better!!! I love the adjustable blade feature as well. I know this will get much use for years to come!!!

I bought this food processor as a show stopper. So far I am very happy with the power and quiet operation. It also looks beautiful, although it's quite large so I don't think it would fit under most cupboards. Only downside I found with this, is that it does have a tendency to waste the "end bits" of whatever you are cutting with the discs. I do think it's a nice machine though and overall I'm quite happy with it.

I was trying to make scalloped potatoes, and it slices real fast but the thickness varied from potato chip thin to 1/4" thick. I don't think I did the wrong thing unless there's a lock for the thickness?

The Kitchen Aid Processor is a great machine. My husband really likes it for prep when he has to cook and so do I. The only bad thing is that when I went to claim rebate, it did not have the Red option plus I couldn't do on line as I kept getting a website error when I got to stage 3 of the claim. I had to copy the form, scan the label and model number, fill in the form changing to what I got which was the red and fax'd it. A lot of trouble for $50 rebate. Other than that the product itself is great.

I love Kitchen Aid. You know when you purchase that you are getting quality that will last.

This processor has a bit of a learning curve but it comes with a booklet that shows you clearly what parts to use for what use. Very easy to understand.

The one thing that I was disappointed in was the fact that when you use the small bowel, you still end up having to wash the large one too. But because the machine works so well, that's forgivable.
