Until I purchased the L'Occitane skin care line I actually used this on my face because I couldn't find a moisturizer that was gentle enough for my super sensitive skin. It also has a very mild scent that I am able to tolerate. Oh, and it is also a wonderful body crème! You will no longer have rough elbows and knees if you use this product.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I am post menopausal so my skin has seen better days. I found that lighter lotions just weren't doing it anymore. This product is wonderful. Makes my skin feel soft and light. The great thing is this feeling lasts all day. BUT... not greasy which is really important to me. Very smooth and easy to apply. A lovely light scent that I can only say smells 'refreshing' BUT it definitely is not overpowering. I really can't think of anything that's not wonderful about this product. Definite buy again... and again. Ditto for their hand and foot creams. Well worth trying.

I always read the ingredient listing on-line before I purchase anything and based on what I read I decided to order this cream. What a disappointment when I received it! Everything about this cream is supposed to be natural according to the host and the listing on line, but this is simply not the case. Among the ingredients that are not listed are methyl paraben and ethyl paraben. This is a misrepresentation of the product. I am returning this item.

My first L'Occitane purchase. I bought this body cream because of the 30% shea butter content. This product is for dehydrated, very dry skin like mine. It is very rich, but my skin drinks it all in somehow, no greasy residue. Lovely light scent. I've been applying it generously to my arms and legs to get my post menopausal flaky, dry skin ready for summer. I have always preferred lotions over creams because lighter formulations are less likely to clog my pores and create bumps. So far, so good. My skin looks less wrinkly and feels much softer without any greasy look or feel. Time will tell. But, at this point, I'm very impressed. L'Occitane is my new favourite line at TSC. I also love the shea butter foot and hand creams.
