Beautiful stones

The labrodite stones in this necklace are top quality - they sparkle with lots of blue and silver reflection. However I was not pleased with the tangled mess I received: the necklace was obviously a return with the necklace tossed into the bottom of the box which made me wonder if TSC doesn't check returns. The sparkle of the stones stopped me from closing the box and making a hasty return. I took one side of the chain and started to gently shake the necklace and viola the tangled chains started to fall apart. There is what I believe a design fault: the stones are large and therefore twist on the chain, one side is faceted the other is partially so the stones can fall on the "wrong" side; however it isn't that noticeable since the "wrong" side sparkles too. Also the fall of the three levels should have been adjusted with possible a change in the a chain length. For me, I found that once the necklace is on and adjusted it pretty well stays that way. It is a lovely necklace -- but I suggest that it be kept in a separate box.

Very pretty

I owe this in black rhodium. They are really really beautiful. The quality and the color of the stone are fantastic. And the labradorite with the black makes a wonderful contrast.
I only wish the stones weren't at the same level, especially those on top, because they stay on top of each other and it's a pity. And I also agree with Lila that they are all tangled when you receive them and it takes some time to untangle them. I try to keep them in order not to let them tangle again. They even get tangled when you were them.
But they remain beautiful, so I keep them and I am very very glad I bought them, especially for the quality of the stone and the interesting look. I also got them at the last sale price, I'm happy about it.

CarolBrodie Labradorite Layered Necklace

By Lila

I so wanted to love this necklace. The idea of the self layered necklace really appealed to me. I especially loved the look of the yellow gold. I did order both of them because they looked totally different with the different metal colour. When I opened the boxes, the necklaces were all tangled up. I managed to untangle them, which wasn't easy. Then I thought as long as I hang it up (I use Joan Rivers loops jewellery holder), I wouldn't have the tangling problem. Wrong. Everytime I put it on the round circle link kept twisting around and tangle the strands, and the labradorite stations would get caught on each other and tangle. I spent an hour trying to untangle the gold necklace and the more I tried to untangle, the more tangled it got, that finally I gave up. I could not untangle the one side, there was 2 strands that were twisted together, that was the way it came. Anyway, if you are someone that doesn't mind having your necklace tangled every time you move and bend over then you'll be alright with the necklace, but I was forever trying to "straighten" the individual strands. I'm sorry to go on about the tangling, I would like to say that the necklace is beautiful though, the labradorite shimmers and looks wonderful on the décolletage, that is why I still gave it 4 stars.
