While I do agree that the dress could use a zipper to ease getting it over my shoulders I did not find it that difficult to get on. Also, I am very short and the dress is just the right length, hitting just at my knee.
I like that the fabric is light so that I will be able to dance in it without getting too warm. The fit is what I expected from a Lennie dress and I look forward to wearing it.

This dress is very versatile. It can be worn casually or to the office or out to dinner. It is most comfortable & moves with you. I am 5 feet tall & 125 lbs. I ordered the small & it fits well. There is nothing negative to say about this dress.

I think the dress is ok but it is a bit matronly. It is too long even on a tall person. The neck line is too high. Covers too much of the neck and chest area.
The colours are a bit drab too. It is much more muted in real life than it looks in the picture.
The fit in other ways was good. Love the empire waist.
I bought small. I am usually a medium and the fit was good. This line is generous in size. It is a nice dress, just not for me.

I had a different experience to the other reviewer, Sandi. Have 2 of Lenny's sharkbite tops and love them and decided to try a dress. I found it to be extremely well made and a gorgeous weight to the material and the Feathers was a great pattern (and I'm not usually a pattern girl). I was sad I had to send it back....but only because I'm pretty tiny and the Small felt just a bit too big and no XS. I'm giving it 5 stars as I did love it.

Just to let other fashionistas know, I had a very different experience than the other reviewer, Sandi. I purchased a couple of the sharkbite tops from Lennie and love them and decided to try a dress. Now.....I did return it, not because I found it to be badly made....in fact I thought quite the opposite - really well made and a beautiful weight to the material. Now, I DID send it back - but only because I'm a small and found it a little big for me. If there would have been an XS in this style, I definitely would have kept it.

This dress looked great when I took it out of the package...nice fabric, pretty design (I ordered the feathers). Unfortunately, when I tried to put it on, I could not get it over my shoulders! (I ordered the same size I usually wear in Lennie's dresses.) The way the drape section below the bust is constructed, there is no stretch or give in the fabric, so a zipper would be needed to get into the garment. I am extremely surprised that Lennie would commit a design mistake like this.
If you are considering ordering this dress, I would recommend going up a size.
