Lennie for Nina Leonard Short Sleeve Scoop Neck Empire Dress

I am smaller busted, and this fits perfectly on me. I find that the size chart doesn't always fit me accordingly, but this one is spot on.

Very cute dress but I had to return it. I bought the turquoise and tangerine loved the colors BUT it did not fit properly. The elastic under the bust in the tangerine had no stretch to it, don't know if it was the way it was made or a return. The elastic in the turquoise was sewn properly BUT in was too high on the bust. I agree with another review that the elastic under the bust should be lower and it would fit perfectly. Wish I could have kept them but had to send them back.
I am only giving it 2 stars because of the fit but perhaps on a small bust it would fit better.
I would still recommend it but only to small busted ladies.

The style of this dress is 100% perfect! I wear petite sizes and this dress works for me. This "go to" dress can be dressed up or down with different shoes & accessories.

For a 5 star rating the fabric needs to be cotton instead of polyester. Please, Lennie, bring this dress back in a cotton/ spandex blend. That would make it a 100% perfect all round dress, that I would get in multiples.

I bought two of this dress, one in tangerine and the other in navy. I am heavy busted, and perhaps this dress is not the best for me, but it is cool, it is comfortable, it is easy to wash, and it's there whenever i need it. I love the line and with the exception of some past sizing issues, i will continue to buy Len's stuff.

I needed a dress for a wedding and was looking for a basic dress that I could wear on any occasion. I love this dress. It is so comfortable, feels nice on, does not cling. I bought the navy one and I can wear different accessories to give it a new look.

Perfect sizing, perfect fit, perfect fabric, perfect fabrication. In other words...Perfect.

I ordered the tangerine in my regular size large. The colour is lovely, but the fabric was a bit too thin and cheap to my liking. When I put the dress over my head and pulled it down over my bust, which is a normal size, the threads popped, which is a sign of a cheaper garment. The dress isn't a fortune, so I shouldn't expect it to be more than it is - a low end dress. Finally, I did the "husband test", and he said it made me look larger than I am. That did it! I work too hard at the gym to look larger than I am in clothing. So, back it went!!!! And my husband did the honours of putting it in the mail box.

My recommendation to Lennie on many of these dresses, (this one, the current showstopper one and the showstopper from last year), is to have the seam under the bustline be lower, (closer to the waist and not so short on the bustline). With all of the volume from the pleats, this style gives a maternity look and is not flattering on many. Ive had to return more than one and will not take a chance next time. Its a shame because they are so pretty, but that one adjustment, would make a big difference :-)

Boy, do I love this dress, got it in tangerine, what a beautiful color. The feel and weight of the fabric is dreamy. It's a dress that can be used for any occasion depending on your accessories. In fact I love the whole line of clothing. Have quite a few pieces from Lennie. Am happy with it all.

I just got mine at the special price. It's a cute little dress but not for me. The style makes me look a lot bigger than I actually am. Too bad but it has to go back.
