Boléro ouvert Lennie de Nina Leonard crocheté à bordure côtelée ornée de volants

I bought this bolero 2 months ago. It has already started to get little balls on it and the stiching in one sleeve has let go. I would think twice before I ordered again.

I ordered the colours sandalwood and white in this cute little sweater/bolero. I've worn them a few times and just love them. The sandalwood colour is a lovely medium-light taupey-beige colour, with a slight touch of muted gold tinge. Very neutral. The white colour is a very soft white, definitely not a harsh or stark white. I don't know if I'd call it winter white, though, as it doesn't have that very slight creamy tone that winter white usually has?

The material is wonderfully soft! I've already worn these outside, in the recent heat wave we've been having in the western provinces, and they were not uncomfortable. And, they were the perfect little cover-up while in a too chilly air-conditioned office! These are definitely going with me on next trip.

About the 4 star rating:
The sweaters I received did not have the more contemporary collars on them. Instead, they are without the generously knitted wavey material they should have. BUT, despite that, I find they still look great without the more contemporary looking collar. Several people commented on how nice they were and asked me where I got them. So, they seem to be a slightly different garment than the one I had ordered. Which, as stated above, is why I rated these a 4 star, rather than a 5.

One more thing, I've been watching this item for a couple of weeks, hoping more would pop back into the system. This is an item I will order more of, if they become available. I'd like to have a few of these, on standby ... I like them that much!

I like this bolero very much. The length is great. It's a bit longer then other Lennie boleros. Good for people that are tall and like a bit more coverage. Quality was fine and washes wonderfully.

Really like this bolero, it may be 100% acrylic but acrylic has come a long way baby! This is very soft and feels good on my skin, not rough and scratchy like the old acrylic and no static or pilling. Love the poppy red colour and the beige. Our dress code at work allows for no sleeveless tops or dresses so these boleros are perfect for summer for me for work as they will go over everything and are light and comfortable. I am not tall so have shorter arms and the sleeve length hits me just at the elbow which is nice for summer and the bolero itself keeps the cold air conditioning off me. Love the feminine ruffle and how soft and comfy yet light and warm these boleros are. Thank you Lennie! Good quality and good price.

I wore this very cute bolero right out of the box and it was perfect to wear casually with a T-shirt and jeans, but I look forward to wearing it with an outfit to dress the outfit up like a sundress. I bought the white and am very pleased with the soft white shade, makes it look more expensive than it was! Is a slightly generous fit, and the ruffles add to the airiness of it. I know I will get a lot of use out of this piece.

I had ordered the Poppy Red and White. The red is very vibrant and the white is a winter-white. Goes perfectly with a long tunic and pair of capris or jeans.

I give this 1 star because it arrived. This is the first time I have returned clothing to shopping channel. It is flimsy, the collar is all twisted and crinkly and looks very cheap. It is more of a beige color than white.
