Good news on the Warranty

Giving the SC 2 regarding my inquiry on the warranty. I called the SC today and they had to look into it. I sent an e-mail directly to Lenox and rec'd a response within hours. Actually very impressive. This is what they said: Hello,Thank you for your email. We are sincerely sorry for any confusion regarding the Lenox Lifetime Flatware Replacement Program. Our website is not currently capable of accepting addresses outside the US. Any non-US customers may register their purchases by mailing in the Lifetime Replacement Warranty Card enclosed with the purchase to the following address: Lenox Lifetime Replacement ProgramPO Box 733Bristol, PA 19007-9947 We apologize for any inconvenience. Should you need a replacement at any time, please call our customer service department at 1800 225 1779 with the replacement part number and our representatives will be happy to order a replacement. Should a replacement no longer be available in your pattern, we will replace your entire set with a new set of equal cost for FREE. I purchased the Lenox Flatware in the Covington design and am pleased with my purchase,the extra hostess pieces are a plus.

This is beautiful flatware, has a nice weight too, I ordered mine from here over a year ago and got the "Devoted" pattern. Goes in dishwasher all the time and no shining up required. Is as shiny as it was from day one. My set has no "hollowed" out areas as other reviewers are saying. Wish mine had come with steak knives though.
I'm also disappointed with the hollow backing, it would have been better if it were at least flat, now I have to worry about food particles getting stuck in the grove, something I hated with my last flatware. I didn't return it because I thought it was an overall generous amount, but no I wouldn't recommend it.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Lovely Flatware, but beware of warranty
I love this flatware set that I purchased it in the Bellevue pattern, when this product was being aired it was advertised with a lifetime warranty and replacement program with Lenox and that is one of the main reasons I purchased the item.I got the order and tried to register online with Lenox but it does not allow for Canadian addresses so I called the Lenox toll free number and the customer service representative told me they do not deal with Canadian customers! I've emailed TSC with this information and I hope they can assist. If you are thinking of purchasing this product check with TSC on the warranty, as it may be false advertising...I'm not impressed and will be returning the item if TSC cannot back the warranty claim.

So many pieces in this lovely set. Not heavy like some flatware tends to be.
Nice looking, but not comfortable
I recently purchased the brentwood pattern, I really liked the look of it, but found the hollow in the back of the forks to be uncomfortable to hold, so returned it.

I ordered and received the "Covington" flatware by Lenox, and all I have to saw is "WOW!!!" This flatware set is absolutely "stunning." I plan on using this for my "everyday" dinning and am looking forward to having an elegantly set table at every meal. A plus for this set is the matching steak knives and the extra hostess pieces and the Lifetime Flatware Replacement Program. Thank you for offering these choices to the Canadian public. I've been looking for a good quality flatwear for special occasions, and for large number of guests. When Lenox came on, I thought "just what I've been looking for!!" 12 place setting, serving set, all the bells and whistles. I ordered the Bellevue showstopper. I received it, and it was like Christmas!! Well, that all changed when I opened the package....I could not believe the inferior quality of this flatwear. The underside of the utensils, with the exception of the knife, are hollowed out....they are not solid. That would explain why the underside was never shown on TV. What a disappointment!!! So glad I didn't spend full price. I also checked the Lenox website to see these 3 patterns....well, much to my surprise, they were nowhere to be found!!! And yet, the vendor said they were the 3 most popular patterns from Lenox, and claimed they sold for approx. $700.00 full price. Hmmmm????? Perhaps you have had better luck trying to find it on-line at Lenox.Well, needless to say, I am sending the Lenox flatwear back. I have found a much superior quallity product, for a fraction of the price, at my neighborhood discount warehouse....you know who I mean.Now, having said all this, I am however, keeping the $10.00 miracle blade set that I ordered at the same time.
