Appareil antirides LightStim

I have now been using this product for 91 days. It is a keeper for sure. I had terrible brown spots from being a sun worshiper for over 45 years. My skin had lost elasticity and I had prominent jowls. I have only missed using the Lightstim 5 times in 91 days and the improvement is just wonderful. My brown spots are now very light, cheeks full, laugh lines 60% diminished with a nice chin line showing. I am more than pleased with this product. I might also add that I use Skinn Collageneses 24 hour cream, morning & night, cleansers, along with dermappeal & wrinkle soak a couple of times a week. I am 70 years of age with skin that could pass for much younger now. I will use this faithfully and review again after six months.

I have both the LightStim Acne light and the LightStim for Wrinkles, and I actually use both at the same time to deal with acne. One light will be on the left side of my face, and the other will be on the right, then I switch so there's even coverage on both sides with both lights. I do between 3 - 6 minutes per area, and this will take between 30 minutes - 1 hour to do my whole face. This is usually my routine at the end of the the day before I go to bed.

For years my skin has been moderately acne prone, with 1 or 2 breakouts being on my face at any given time. The results I have gotten was NOT over night. I think for myself, it's taken 2 full months for me to see results, and this is simply using light therapy through my dermatologist twice a week. I wanted to have something at home in case I am unable to see my dermatologist. He had lent me a device that works similar to the LightStim but was smaller and included more red lights than blue. Since my progress has been steady, I knew light therapy was working for me and so it was a no brainer getting both LightStim devices.

I am not 100% clear, but my skin is a lot more calm and even without. Any breakouts I do get now do not last very long and generally heal in about half the time than they have in the past. I also have mild post acne marks which the red light is helping with, but the blue is definitely keeping me as clear as possible.

If you aren't consistent, it won't work. I believe it can work for everyone. The timeframe will vary among individuals, and I also wanted to note there were a couple weeks when my skin was worse before it got better. I'm happy with my purchases.

I have been using the LigthSim since Nov. I used it for 7 days a week for the first 4 months. Now I use it about 5 times a week. I love how warm my skin feels when I am doing my treatments. Several people have commented on how great my skin is looking. My wrinkles are disappearing and my face looks bright. When I feel my face my skin feels plump. Even the skin on my throat is firming up. I am also doing the backs of my hands. The skin is plumping and not looking so thin and boney.

My 90 day return policy is coming up. I thought I would wait before I gave my User Comments. But I am still not sure. My face has not gotten that much better so as to have people comment, but it has not gotten worse either. I still look younger than my age. Perhaps it is because I stay out of the sun. I think I will keep the unit, as it does no harm to use it and perhaps in six months from now, it will have some positive effect on some of my lines. It is much cheaper and less risky than botox! I would say, try it.

I ordered this product in February. The first few weeks I used it everyday as they recommended but after 4 weeks I started to use it every other day. I am in my 40's and no wrinkles yet,except for a small one on my forehead that is almost gone. The one thing that is definitely different is the texture of my skin(face and neck)as it feels and looks softer and of course I love the warm relaxing feeling. However I need to mention that I am very meticulous with my face regimen from creams, serums,face brushes,soaps and make up removers,as I dont believe that products or devices can make miracles overnight but definitely they help to prevent or minimize wrinkles as well as to improve skin texture.

I ordered this product on 02/05 and used it faithfully for 8 weeks. I used it for 7 days a week and was very hopeful that I was going to see some kind of results before the 90 day period. Not only was there no improvement, I felt that my skin was looking worse with the use of this machine. The puffiness under my eyes looked more noticeable, age marks did'nt lighten one bit, lines and wrinkles were not changed and I got a reddness to my skin that I never had before. Since I contemplated getting this machine for some time prior to ordering it and was quite hopeful about it's effectiveness it was a real let down to get such poor results. I have been told I look younger than my age but I am a 60 year old woman and perhaps it only works on younger skin (although that is not what was promised). I decided not to wait until the 90 days and sent this product back today.

I have used this device faithfully for the past seven weeks and although I had not seen any real noticeable improvement in the reduction of wrinkles I did very much enjoy using the device as I found it to be very warm and comforting to the feel. However, of late I have started to see 3 new age or brown spots appearing on my face.And sooo... I have decided that I have no choice but to send it back.

Bought this as a showstopper in February and have been using it pretty regularly. I have noticed a difference in the texture of the skin on face and neck. Has not done much for the deeper wrinkles but I am not expecting miracles and hope with time they will become softer. I will keep it and continue to use it.

I didn't even try it because I was very nervous when I read the instructions and it said never bend the cord...I was a littlle nervous to use it anyway but when I read that I was too uncomfortable so back it went...hope it works for others.

My husband and I have been using lightstim faithfully everyday since we have purchased it a few weeks ago. Like many we did not know if it would work but were willing to try it.If it worked on us there is no reason why it would not work on you.We are just average rough weathered Canadian people.What prompted me to write this review is after reading some of your reviews and I could see sadly you did not put any effort into this and the funny thing about it is You do not need to put an effort into it but you do need to use it.If you purchased it you obviously want it to work.You are making it an effort and this is your problem instead of enjoying it and seeing results.You so deserve it.After supper everyone no mattter how busy will have a little downtime to relax and maybe watch the daily news or even better a half an hour sitcom.My lightstim is in my living room not my bathroom.After supper it is just an habit and a nice one to use it has we enjoy a show.You do not even realize the time has passed and my husband is happy to have a turn and believe me he is a construction worker not a model.Do not sit in front of your bathroom mirror .It is not necessary. That is just work.I like to warm mine up first.We are like many of you .We can not afford botox or surgery but at 54 we like to look and feel good about ourselves.Remember wrinkles and aging skin has taken years to appear so it takes time to disappear.It sneaks up on you and so will this treatment but it will work.Pictures do not lie and it feels so good when you work hard all your life to just look at yourself and say I look pretty darn good.The texture -the redness in your skin will change and look healthier. I am not being paid to say this.I would wish for you results like us.You deserve this so take the time to do this for yourself.You will be so happy. You can not expect miracles to happen with any product but you will expect results from lightstim.Sorry if I sound like a commercial.Give it a chance and enjoy it while you are looking better everyday.I have nothing to gain by telling you this but you have and I encourage you to do it.Great Results.
