Micoro Pedi ..... ok, Just not for me.
I really wish when companies and TSC use people to show off the products they are selling, they would think of the many people with health issues that could be affected by the products. As a diabetic for the past twenty-five years I have always made it a practice that my feet are well cared for, to the extent that I use an RPN foot nurse to handle my foot care every six weeks. I have had a couple of small calloused areas on my feet that I thought the MP might help get rid of. I used the Micro Pedi once and my feet have not stopped burning since. I made only light passes over my feet and heels never lingering in any one spot for any length of time, just as the directions suggested. The effects of that one single application are still with me. I gave the MP to a neighbour who absolutely loves it. But other than callouses she has no foot issues. I'm certain if I weren't diabetic the micro pedi would be a wonderful item to keep my feet in good condition. But I AM diabetic and need to be informed that some of these items can be harmful to me. Please, once again, I ask that you make it a point to let people with health issues know that a product is not sutable for them.

Keeps my heels nice and smooth
Only good first few times

Sorry, I'm not very happy with this tool and I'm not the only one. My sisters and I all purchased one plus extra rollers and it only performed well after the first few times of use. Neither my sisters or myself have very rough skin or problematic issues and there just isn't enought power any more for the unit to spin the rollers. I put in new batteries to make sure that wasn't the problem and it wasn't. It performs like a child's toy now and is of no use to any of us. Very disappointed in this product.

Should have bought from tsc!
By Marilyn The Shopper
I missed out when it was the show stopper so I finally bought at a chain drugstore . It is a great product ! I paid at least $20. more than the shown price now at tsc. Well worth waiting for tsc to get them in.
This product is excellent and does what it says it is suppose to do. Extra rollers can be purchased in a specific drug mart(unable to specify name on reviews)
Miraculous Callous Remover
This product has given me better results than anything I've ever tried - including professional pedicures - in under 2 minutes per foot! I have chronic callouses and this is the prefect product for my needs. I'll be ordering extra rollers because I'll never want to be without this again. If you have sensitive feet or just a bit of dry skin, this may be too intense. I have never been able to get these kind of results. Thank you!
Needed to send a 'second' review....
from Wetaskiwin, AB
I am SO happy with this wonderful invention I just had to write a second review! I am awaiting the second one this week as it has a longer handle which will be wonderful for us with limited reachability and our arms seem too short! haha! I will write another review once it gets here and I try it out! Thank you Medi Pedi!I wish more companies would pay attention to those of us with disabilities and make longer handles on things like leg shavers, bath brushes, etc. Like Kevin on "Dragon's Den" would say...."can I make money?".....YOU BET!!

I have owned and used my Micro -Pedi, its fine & coarse rollers, & its tools since it was first released. It seemed like a great idea: a quick mini sander for the bottom of the feet. No more various grade sanders, sweeping the cell dust. During the winter my feet would get very dry; the heels would crack, and with age it got worse regardless of excellent care and good foot products. With the MP, it continually got worse. I wondered if I sanded too much; too much pressure, or too little. It seemed that the more gentle I sanded used the MP, it was like flattening & polishing the bottom skin cells. They cells grew back thicker, scalier, whiter, harder & more cracked. I finally stopped using the MP, got back into the regime of a good soak in my foot bath with bath salts. I gently used varying degrees of the wet foot files, followed by specific brand of lotions for healing the feet. Humidity helps the skin so much, but when the area you life in is a relatively dry one for most of the year, not all these quick-fix products work for all of us. It was quick & convenient, but it did more damage to my bottom feet then help. I will stick to what works for me, and if it the MP works for you, you are lucky, and that is great.

Obviously I've tried other units of this type but never of this caliber. I ordered 2 pink when they were showstoppers... both for me....and I'm glad I did. The value was excellent and I ordered extra rollers and the extension handle at the same time. The Emjoi Micro-pedi is something everyone should have, male or female. Why would anyone not want amazing feet all the time.I can do this while I'm watching TV and don't even realize I'm doing anything and before I know it my feet are like a baby's bottom. Thank you Emjoi, for true quality and value.I would give this 10 stars and highly recommend it to everyone.

People: Let's put this in perspective!
While there are many stellar reviews of this product, let's get real: This is a handy tool that works IN BETWEEN your other serious pedicure attention. If you have hard skin build-up on your feet, this will help manage it TO A DEGREE. It's not going to get rid of it permanently or even for a long time. Your feet may still look somewhat dry (before you put on lotion which is half the battle anyway & has nothing to do with the sloughing) and this is not a substitute for more serious sloughing off of hard skin. I like this tool, use it about once a week, and then after about 4 weeks, I have to get out the old elbow grease and rub my heels with a foot paddle. (The one with a sandpapery side.) And that is what really works. There is no comparison to the final results. The Emjoi is a nice in-between tool but, as far as I am concerned, cannot compare to the old-fashioned hand paddle or a professional pedicure. (And I do not recommend anyone using a razor on their hard skin as they do at some salons. I only have them use the hand paddle on my feet when I have a pedicure.) I can't really understand the large number of rave reviews...I wonder if reviewers are influenced by other reviewers before they post. That really doesn't help anyone. I'd still recommend this -- as an OK tool for in-between real treatments -- but people just need to understand what they are really getting out of this purchase.
