A true symbol of iconic Canadian style, this limited edition Muskoka half mukluk from Manitobah Mukluks is one-of-a-kind and was designed exclusively for The Shopping Channel. The Muskoka style is a full fur, half-mukluk that features beautiful turtle beadwork and a Vibram art-sole designed by First Nations artist Heather Steppler. The unique, artistic beadwork design is hand-sewn individually and is a signature of Manitobah Mukluk's Aboriginal design. The turtle has a very strong meaning in most Aboriginal cultures. Many nations have creation stories that involve the world being carried on the back of a turtle and for that reason, North America is often referred to as "Turtle Island." Turtles have come to symbolize Mother Earth, being grounded, persistent, nurturing and pacing oneself. The name of this pair of Mukluks originates from Muskoka, the traditional trading territory of the Anishanabe, Huron, Algonquin and Haudenousonee just north of Toronto, which is now famous for its cottage country.

Made with traditional production techniques resulting in the utmost quality and authenticity, this pair of mukluks honours the way of their ancestors by turning waste by-products, like furs and leathers after a hunt, into footwear that will last and be treasured for years to come from a sustainable way of life brought forth by their history. Ideal for the cold weather on the horizon, mukluks are a great choice of footwear that transcends seasons and can fit in with a wide variety of fashionable looks, all while keeping your feet cozy. The sheepskin insole provides warmth and comfort, while the full fur shaft offers a plush and luxurious experience every time you sink your feet into these mukluks.

Combining the craftsmanship and artistry of their ancestors with modern materials, Manitobah Mukluks create truly timeless footwear that can connect Canadians to their culture.
