The Sam & Kate line was created by a Canadian based company, exclusively for the Shopping Channel. Ben Farber, the owner of said company, has spent his whole life in the fashion industry and was both inspired and influenced by his grandchildren, Sam and Kate. He thought that because he wanted to create a fresh and fashionable line that was also simple, functional and trendy, he would use the names of his grandkids to brand the collections.

Ben Farber has seen numerous fashion trends unveil through his many years of design and by travelling the world. Initially starting in his own family business, Ben spent many days on the cutting room floor learning the trade and figuring out how to create elegant, timeless designs. He saw that a void existed for a stylish leather line that was not associated with high-priced designer bags or the high cost of leather.

So, the Sam & Kate line at the Shopping Channel was born in 2010 and since then, has represented a blend of old school values and modern classic designs to provide value-priced bags at outstanding quality which are fun, practicable and easy to wear for all ages and occasions. Each season offers a multitude of choices in different kinds of leather and colours, coupled with style, simplicity and versatility which are key elements in Sam & Kate designs.
