Mr. Max 3 Piece: Cardigan, Sequin Camisole & Pant

loved the style....when it arrived i tried only the top to make sure the size was right....unfortunately when i decided to wear it for an occasion and was getting dressed for same....i was so disappointed to find that the pants would have fitted a 300 lbs lady....it was too late to return the product at this time...i expected the legs to be too long..but didn't expect the waist to come up to my chest and room for three of me in them...i was really disappointed in this and now have to find a seemstress to alter them....so i am really not pleased...i would also like to add that if this had fitted me all around i would have ordered the red also..

I was very excited to find out that Mr. Max was having this Showstopper just in time for the holidays. I ordered it in grey, imagining I could pair it up with several black items I already own. When it came and the pants were huge, it was very disappointing for me. Two of my favourite leisure suits are by Mr. Max, size medium, so it shattered my confidence when these garments did not fit and had to be returned. It's very important to have standard sizing when we are unable to try things on before purchasing.

I ordered a medium in black, well the pants fell off my hips, the tank is on the small side and the cardigan is huge. If I roll up the waist a few inches and stitch them in place I might be able to keep them. What a shame, Joey, where were you when they were sizing this set?

This was my first time to purchase Mr. Max. I ordered two outfits in XL, one in gray and one in blue. The gray outfit was HUGE - the pants must have been a 3X and the rest of the outfit at least a 2X. The sapphire camisole fit beutifully but the pants and jacket were too large. I was terribly disappointed as the fabric was lovely and draped beautifully.

I ordered an XL because that was the only size available at the time. I usually wear a large so thought I could wear it. Well, when I recieved the outfit, the top was alright but the pants were HUGE. Was very disappointed because it was a lovely outfit and wanted it for the Christmas holidays. Needless to say I sent it back. No I wouldn't recommend this product.

Sam you made the pants too long!!!!

This is similar to the velvet offering last year only the pants were ordered separately and they were too big then too and a smaller size was preferable and could be ordered.

I wish we could have ordered the pants separately again this year as the top and camisole fit perfectly but like others have stated the pants are huge. I would have thought after last year they might have fixed the pant situation.

Unfortunately I will be returning mine. It just is no good without matching pants.

I ordered this item because my last product fitted perfectly. I love the fit of the top and cardigan but the pant is huge on me. I am torn about returning this product because quality, price and fashion are all there except for the pants. I also found the waistband on the pants to be flimsy. They are truly 'old lady' pull on pants.

I ordered two of these beautiful outfits in size XL one in grey and one in sapphire. I tried on the first one and the top fit very nicely.... I had been worried that the camisole would be too tight. However when I put the pants on, they were enormous..... at least suitable for a 3X. Regretably I had to send both outfits back.

I normally wear a 3X and ordered this outfit in the sapphire and the red. My sister ordered size large in the sapphire, red and black. My sister received all three of her outfits first. She tried on the sapphire and it looked lovely. I was so excited when one of my outfits, the sapphire, arrived. The top fit beautifully. Then I opened the pants and couldn't believe what I was seeing. I could honestly stand my whole body in one leg of the pants. They were enormous!! I called the Shopping Channel and we are going to exchange for an XL and see what happens. My sister needs her pants hemmed so when I was at her home today, I told her to put the pants on so I could pin them. When she opened the red and black outfits the problem was the same. I tried on the size large pants and still had plenty of room in them. Unfortunately the sequin top would have been way too small. I don't understand how her sapphire size large was perfect and the other two outfits had pants that would fit a 3X. There must be something wrong in the cut of the sizing. It is a shame because the outfits are lovely.

I ordered this idem in XL because thay were sold out of every other size by 7am. I usually wear a large so I thought I could get away with the XL. Well, thats not the way it worked out. Pants were more like a 3X and the top was like a 2X. [...] I'm really disappointed because I really like the outfit and the meterial is wonderful.I would buy Mr. Max again, but I will order at midnight and go 3 sizes smaller.
