more for decoration than function

the colour & pattern is a nice base for decorating. appreciated the ribbons sewn inside that are used to secure the duvet in place...for duvets that comes with tabs/loops. had to turn this duvet cover inside out to secure the duvet in place, found a lot of loose threads on the inside...a whole handfull. time & time again tsc vendors claim a sign of a quality made item is no frayed or loose threads. the pattern is only on one side and the material on the underside is cotton but it's shiney and cold. had to buy a queen size fleece throw to place between me and this duvet cover. I really hope this item washes well, otherwise this will be a total waste of money
