Nettoyeur Oreck pour tapis

Love this little sweeper. Received it last friday. Been meaning to order it since I saw it on air in Dec. It has great suction and picks up everything. It's also light weight and very easy to use. I'm keeping it in my hallway so that i can easily vacuum up all the stones and salt winter brings into the house!

I purchased this item on the show stopper and have to say I am impressed with it's performance. Of course it doesn't replace a vaccum cleaner but it is great a cleaning up small messes without having to drag the vaccum cleaner out. I found it works on carpet and floors and picks up a lot of dog hair. Only thing I find a bit annoying is that I cannot seem to stabilize the handle which keep sliding back down. Perhaps I am not strong enough to tighen it?? I would recommend this product.

Big price for such a small sweeper but it's exactly what I need for quick clean up. Takes very little space and seems to hold a charge. Novelty hasn't worn off.

The item did not come close to working as shown on the video. It did not have ANY suction at all, it just pushed the dirt around. Not sure if this is because it was a returned, damaged/non-functioning item that was re-packaged at the warehouse or if the item really is a dud.

i took delivery of my Oreck sweeper 2 days ago & have been experimenting with it.We have hardwood throughout except in the kitchen and bathroom which have tile.We have a golden retriever,a calico cat & four birds,one of which is a small exotic so there is the need to tidy floors several times a day on the main floor.I chose the Orek for it's simplicity,the light weight and the claim to it's ability to pick up anything "reasonable" thrown at it * so far i have to say that my husband & i are really quite impressed.As i say,it's only been a few days but we will use this unit every day throughout the warrenty time with optimism & will post another review later.

After reading the review about the pet hair getting caught in the wheels i was compelled to comment, "with respect".
I would simply like to say that "ANYTHING" with rotating parts moving over pet hair will wrap around that part.As we all know as pet owners,it certainly "is" a chore to keep our homes clean & like "ANY" vacuum/sweeper the best action is to clean the unit after "each" use,...it's a small job that won't allow accumulation.

So far we find this product to be a good purchase at a good price.

The first one I ordered was missing the handle. Then they were out of stock to do the exchange. When it came back into stock I talked with a client service rep who was very helpful. He ordered it for me at the blockbuster price and waived the shipping as it was an exchange.

Well after all that is was more than worth the wait. It does a great job on carpet and hard surfaces. It is so much easier than having to drag the big heavy vacuum for small jobs.

I was quite surprised at how much power it had. I was really surprised at how well it did on carpet.
I have two dogs and two cats and the pet hair brush is amazing. It almost does a better job than my expensive big brand name vacuum.

It is so easy and good that my husband now uses it for small jobs. Like sweeping up snack crumbs in his den.

Even if you have a great vacuum this is the perfect sweeper for small jobs. Compared to other electic sweepers this one is quiet. The fact that there are no cords to fight with makes it so easy to go from room to room without having to keep moving the plug in.

Great job Oreck for a fair price.

If I didn't have a long haired dog, I would be totally in love with this product. I bought it to use in between my vacuuming. Because it had the hair brush, I thought it would be perfect for my needs. Unfortunately, the dog hair gets stuck at the side of the wheels and they won't turn. It takes me longer to remove the hair from the wheels than it would take for me to use my vacuum. If you don't have a pet, or if you have a short haired pet, you will love this product.

I would not call this a carpet sweeper. I almost did not buy it because I thought that's what it's best used for. turns out it does not glide that easily on carpets, area rugs and even thinner pile runners. It's great on wood and tiles. very satisfied how well the rotating brush picks up things like lint and other fibres from broadloom that even my dyson does not get with one pass over. definately helps with maintaining a clean appearance between thorough cleanings. easy to assemble and re-charges quickly. quiet operation too

I purchased this item in june 2012 and it works good however, does not pick up in the corners.
