These lights look get when you receive them to bad they are so poorly designed. First of all they only have a single triple A rechargable battery which is not enough to power the lights to the brightness that they should be and when fullly charged this small battery only last a few short hours. I would not recommend these to anyone. If I had not distroyed the box and packing they would have been returned by now. Look harder for more quality items TSC
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Very Disappointed in Product
from Happy Valley, NL
I purchased two packages this Spring; 16 solar lights in total. Waited for my landscaping to be complete. I placed the solar lights along the driveway earlier this week and followed directions. By the third day, three of the solar lights gave out. The ones that are working are very dim. Others are correct in that the base is very weak as well.

Nice and bright, glass is good quality. I also agree that the stakes are weak.
Love the Colours
By Betty C.
I purchased these as a showstopper to add interest to my night garden. Lights are not really bright but add charm after dark. Comments about stakes are correct but unfortunatly they seem to be the industry standard. (other sets bought elsewhere have same problem)

I bought these as a showstopper and am extremely pleased. I've kept them on white and they go perfectly with other lights I bought at TSC. They are quite bright and light up our front garden beautifully. I hope they don't go missing as some of my other lights have done.

Fragile Stakes and very DIM lighting
By Always fixing things
from Brampton, Ontario
The style of these lights is quite nice. The glass area (instead of plastic) is a very nice feature also. The colour setting works nicely, turning from red to green to blue and does look attractive BUT ... the light is VERY dim. I set them all to WHITE to see how that would compare and white also, shows quite dim. It would be so much nicer if it cast a brighter light. My MAIN area of dissatisfaction is the black plastic stakes which go into the ground. They are very weak. The top part which holds the tubular shaft, only goes up into the shaft less than an inch. This is not nearly enough to gain a stable hold on the shaft, especially with the heavy glass top part. The plastic stakes also, have four very thin plastic FINS which are what holds the shaft steady. These fins break with very little pressure. I have already broken 4 of the 8. Terribly weak.A FIX ... at any hardware store, buy a wooden dowel thick enough to just fit into the tubular shaft.Cut it roughly the size of the tubular shaft. Sand or grind the end of the dowel to make a point. Push this into the ground, set your shaft onto the wooden dowel and it's good to go. Much more stable.Bottom line .. nice but too dim and be prepared to replace the plastic stakes with wooden dowels as they WILL break.

These lights may 'look' good, but are not functionally up to par. 1) The black plastic spike that is supposed to hold them in the ground is not sturdy enough, it's flimsy and cheap, and it isn't long enough to hold the top upright, securely. They wobble when you touch them because it isn't possible to put that small, thin spike down into the ground far enough to anchor the lights.2) They give off very little light....very dim lighting, on either the white or colour setting. Hardly give off enough light to make a difference.Overall...I am disappointed with the product; and it's way too expensive for what you get.

We received our 2-sets of lights and placed them stratigically throughout the garden, We decided you use the changing colours and at night it looks like we have fairies dancing throught the garden...Will be buying more! They have turned my Brown Thumb to green!

Absolutely spectacular ! Eyecatching!!!
from Kamloops B.C.
I have looked at a lot of different garden lights but these are by far the most unique and beautiful I have seen. Lots of people have been asking where I found them and I am pleased to tell them " I found them on the Shopping Channel!!"
