Certainly was not like as seen/used on the models, very disappointed, hairs all over my face when used with 4 in 1 powder. I will be sending the brush back.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

the best brush for the 4-in-1
I don't know why so many people are really "down" on this brush because it really is the best thing for applying the 4-in-1 foundation (original or new formula). Yes, it can be a bit scratchy, though I find that goes away over time and it has never bothered me all that much in any case. The firmer texture just means it does a really good job of buffing the product into the skin so it really does look like it's your skin, not your makeup, that is showing. I do think the brush is included a bit too often (I think I have 5 or 6 of them now, but I keep one, along with a mini 4-in-1, in my gym bag so extras can be handy). I do wish it came with some sort of case to keep it clean when you want to take this with you for touch-ups but other than that, I think this brush is just fine for its purpose (also, if you make a mistake and apply to much blush, this brush will buff it away for a more natural look).

Does it's job, but sheds a lot
I was really excited about this brush because of the way it seemed to work on TV. I use it to blend the CC cream and for finishing powder. Every time I use it, I have to pick the hairs it leaves behind off of my face, even after washing the brush several times.

Not worth half the price
from St. John's, NL
I purchased this brush for $12.00 (purhase with purchase. The brush was o.k. for applying the 4-in-one foundation. But then I had to remove the hairs that came off the brush from my face. I have had similar experiences with other PurMinerals brushes. The quality of the brushes are very poor.

Worth the money I paid, works nicely with the powder. Glides on smoothly and distributes powder evenly.
BRING US A RETRACTABLE CHISEL BRUSH
I really like the chisel brush, it is the best. However, would you PLEASE make a "Retractable" brush for our purse. Maybe put together a small set of two "retractable" powder brushes as well as the chisel brush. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you P.M. and T.S.C.
The Right Tool!!!
This squared off brush is the perfect brush for the 4-in-1 product-I thought at first that any brush will do so why spend money on this odd brush but really in order to load up as we say of the powder and then kinda shake some off, it is the perfect tool for "stippling" and getting the product on without caking it on the face. You want to have an even texture all over your face to have a "finished" look which this brush gives you. Some hairs do fall out from time to time but it is still a good brush. The brush included with the 3 piece kit is a fantastic deal!!!!

The brush is scratchy. I do like the large flat surface to apply the 4 in 1 powder. The pink paint on the handle is horrid. It may look pretty but it started flaking off and flaked off on my face, hands, make up case, everywhere. I had to toss out the brush. A waste of your money.

This brush is a definate must have! It does give you a lot of coverage as one other person commented..but some days you want it. It will only look like you are wearing make up if you don't put it on properly. As for the brush hairs coming out..the first couple of times I used it..it did happen with this specific brush but not with my original one....It stopped soon after though.

I love the chisel brush, it provides just the right coverage for the 4 in 1 powder. It may be too heavy for anyone looking for a lighter touch, then I would suggest using the powder brush.
