The piece and lid are constructed from the highest quality 304 stainless steel with 0.8mm thickness and a impact-bonded base that's 5.4mm thick and has an aluminum disc encapsulated in magnetic stainless steel. This base provides even heat distribution and heat retention to make sure whatever you're making cooks consistently and evenly.

Finally - something made in Canada!

Excellent quality for the price. Looks great, washes easily.
We use it to make spaghetti sause or to cook the pasta - it doesn't stick to the bottom!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I love my new 6.5 litre Padermo Dutch Oven. It is the right size for making soups, stews, and casseroles. The design and the weight of the of the steel speaks to the quality of pan. I was very happy when it arrived and I saw it as I pulled it out of the box. The pictures and description on the website were exact and I cant think of anything negative to say about my purchase.
