What it does:
The Pearl's secret is its revolutionary thermotransmitter. As the Pearl glides across the skin, thermotransmitters radiate heat down into the hair follicle, slowing down the growth of hair. Continuous slowing of hair growth promotes longer lasting results and does not irritate skin. Unlike waxing that tears off the first layer of the epidermis, the Pearl gently glides across skin and removes hair painlessly and effortlessly. Using the built-in, bi-directional optical sensor, the Pearl removes hair in two directions instead of one.

Suggested Usage:
• Plug in the AC adaptor into the wall outlet and insert the opposite end into the charging port of the Pearl. Charge your Pearl Hair Remover for 4-6 hours before first use. Afterwards, charge as needed. The “Charge” light on the unit will turn off when fully charged. The Pearl is designed with a 15 minute auto-off timer for your safety
• After charging, remove the top cover and install the heat transferring tip onto the prongs. Choose the right size tip for the area you plan to treat: large for areas like legs, arms and chest, small for more delicate areas like face, bikini line or underarms. Once you have selected the appropriate size, align the prongs of the Pearl with the holes in the tip and press gently down into place
• Press and hold the ON/OFF button for one second to turn on the Pearl Hair Remover (repeat this step to turn off the unit when finished or when not in use for a sustained period of time)
• Hold the Pearl at a 90 degree angle to the area being treated with the ON/OFF button and activation light facing towards you. Make sure the roller is flat against the skin. Steadily glide the Pearl upwards, against the direction of hair growth. The red activation light will illuminate and glow continuously when an optimal speed and angle are used. If the light flickers, adjust your speed and/or angle accordingly. Always use the aid of a mirror when removing hair from your face, neck or any area to which visibility would otherwise be limited or impossible
• Smooth the treated area with one of the Pearl Buffing Pads provided with your unit. Firmly buff the skin in a circular or back and forth motion, taking care not to injure delicate areas. If discomfort occurs, lessen the amount of pressure applied
• Apply Pearl Soothing Serum or a gentle moisturizer to treated area after each treatment for smooth, healthy-looking skin
CARE:
After each use, use the mini brush to remove any hair that may have collected inside the tip. Wait 5 minutes after turning the unit off before cleaning and always remove the tip from the device before beginning. Gently sweep hair away from the comb and wire element, taking care not to damage the tip while cleaning.
REPLACEMENT:
With long-term/repeated use, the wire element inside a tip will wear out and break. This is normal and to be expected. Do not attempt to repair or reuse a tip that is broken or damaged in any way. Remove it immediately and discard. Replace your Pearl tip with a new one any time this occurs.

1. Why does it smell so strongly?
At first, treatment may produce a burning smell and you may also see smoke. This means that the Pearl is working, crystallizing the hair as it makes contact. Over time, this will decrease as the amount of hair decreases.
2. How long should it take to use my Pearl?
For beginners, legs may take 30-45 minutes and less time as your master the technique. Remember, practice makes perfect!
3. Why is stubble still present after use?
The ideal length of hair to treat is 1-3mm(1 mm is about the same as the thickness of a penny). You may need to trim or let hair grow before using. ALWAYS buff the treated area after use and moisturize! These steps are essential to successful results.
4. What is the thermogenic technology that the Pearl Hair Remover uses?
It is a micro heat wave sent down the hair, all the way to the root. This weakens the hair follicle, slowing down the growth
Safety Precautions:
1. Use Pearl Hair Remover only as directed
2. DO NOT use while bathing, and be sure skin is dry during use. Device must not get wet or be submerged in liquids
3. DO NOT use on genitals or breasts
4. If you are pregnant, consult a physician before use
5. Using the Pearl Hair Remover should not cause skin irritation when used as directed. However, skin irritation may arise on sensitive skin. Apply Pearl Soothing Serum after each treatment to discourage irritation
6. Using the Pearl in a single area for too long increases the chance of skin irritation. If hair is not removed from an area after 3 of 4 passes, wait several minutes before trying again. You may need to shave after after the first few sessions for complete hair removal, but after continued use shaving will be unnecessary
7. DO NOT attempt to touch the wire element in the tip attachment. The tip teeth protect your skin during normal use, but direct contact with the wire element will cause injury
