Third generation Jeweler Moe Afshar and Creative Partner Krisztina Csupo have been immersed in the world of fashion, fine jewellery for decades.

Having always been fascinated with the evolution of self-expression through jewellery in the history of humanity, and with their respective Woodbury University, School of Business and Fashion Design and GIA educations, it has been a long time coming that this dynamic duo translate their profound passion for Earth's treasures into coveted heirlooms of their own designs.

It all started a long time ago, in a faraway land… Ata Afshar, grandfather of Moe Afshar was a master goldsmith, jewelry designer and well-known retailer in Shiraz, Iran. He turned his passion into business in 1915 and built a legacy that he managed well into the 1980s. He taught his son Jalal all there was to know about the industry and Jalal did not disappoint his father. Combining his expertise in gold, silver, diamonds, semi-precious stones and watches with his unsurpassed business skills, the Afshar name in Iran became synonymous with Cartier and Tiffany's. Jalal Afshar passed his knowledge, integrity and wisdom on to his 5 sons and founded Afshar Jewelers, Inc. in 1979 in Los Angeles, CA. Moe served as Chief Financial Officer. In 1987 the company expanded to New York and became the largest importer of Italian gold jewellery, dominating the US market with annual gross sales of well over $100 million. In the late 1970s Moe established his first watch brand, Moe & Co.

With a history so diverse, Moe and Krisztina Csupo, Creative Director of Porsamo Bleu, developed this distinct and unique line of jewellery. Porsamo Bleu is the fruit of their combined passion for jewellery.
