The Perfect Tool for your hair
By Donna loves shopping channel
from Regina, Sask
This works great on all types of hair and it is not difficult to use at all, you can curl, straighten, I love it. I wish it was smaller barrel for short hair, I love the volume it gives. No more frizz days.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Works with Practice
I have baby fine straight hair with no body. I ordered the Perfecter to see if there was any hope at all for my feathers. I had watched the infomercial and read lots of reviews on line so I was tempted at the sale price. I have had it for about a month now and found that it took quite a bit of practice to get it to style at all. My hair is a mid-length bob. I have been using a flat iron for several years and while it did work it also damaged my hair. I find that the lower setting on the Perfecter does nothing for my style but the higher setting actually works. It is important how you role the hair to prevent tangles. Taking small sections and starting at the top and holding it there for a few seconds then continuing to role the sections seems to work. It does not seem to damage my hair and leaves it nicely styled and with lots of shine. I do use a fair bit of product - mousse and spray and sometimes Flocker. But overall I am satisfied. I would recommend but be prepared to practice.

I will admit that I didn't expect a lot from this item from reading the reviews. The sale price really pushed me to try it and am glad I did! It is like a hot round brush! I let my hair air dry before I use my styler, even the night before. It saves the damage to hair from blow dry every time. It can go from just smoothing out like a flatiron to medium loose curls! Easy! Try it! You will love it! The price is amazing, too. A tip would be to use taya products with it for incredible results!!

Good styler for the sale price
I have been on the fence about this product for months and only bought because the price came down significantly. I wanted something that I could use on shorter natural curly hair and I wouldn't have to worry about burning my face or hands. I have some arthritis issues and my hands can be stiff in the morning when I am trying to manipulate a very hot curling iron. This is great because I can get right to the skin safely around my neck. I am still getting the hang of using it. There is a learning curve. My hair is shorter so it doesn't get caught but I can see it happening if you are in a hurry. I would recommend to anyone who has a senior or someone with hand issues because this is very safe. The bristles do not get hot although you will feel heat from the barrel, so you can use both hands. This price is lower than other "sale" prices by a lot. I am happy with the purchase.

good for touch ups
I have seen the Fusion Styler on tv and on the Shopping Channel and for the price I thought why not.. Good product with conjunction with my hot iron. Did not like it on it's own because it took to much time to straighten my long curl hair BUT works great for touch ups the next day and perfect for my bangs. I love that it does not burn my scalp. If you have short hair it's perfect.
Perfecter is very good!
By BC Lady Rose

The Perfecter may not be perfect, but I certainly would rate it "Very Good"! I've been using mine for well over a year now.I have naturally curly, just-below-the-shoulder length hair and as I'm getting older my hair was more dry than it ever used to be. Put me near any humidity and the frizz was uncontrollable! But since using the Perfecter my hair is more manageable, far less frizzy, and it looks & feels better in every way!I find the Perfecter is lightweight, easy to use, & I haven't had any issues with it. However, after a recent surgery, I ended up with a "frozen shoulder" & was unable to do my own hair. I asked my husband to try doing my hair for me with the Perfecter. After only a few tries, he was easily getting the hang of it! The way I explained it to him was, "Think of an old-fashioned barber's pole. When twisting the hair around the Perfecter, think of the motion of the red and blue colours going down the barber's pole." Voila! My hair wasn't exactly the same as when I do it, but he did an excellent job. Now, IMO, if my husband can get the hang of it that quickly and help me with my hair, then I don't see this device as being a problem to use. It can easily be used right-handed or left-handed. I use it to enhance & de-frizz my natural curls. I can add height to the top of my hair, put an upswing on the ends if I want, or add extra body over all.I am quite happy with my Perfecter and the results I have achieved!Hints: Follow the directions. Hold the hair in place long enough for the Perfecter to do its job. If you want the curls to last longer, let them cool completely before you touch them or try doing any further combing or styling.
The Perfect Tool for my Hair !

The Perfecter Fusion Styer is a delight in every way. It works perfectly on my medium length blunt cut. I got perfect results on the first try and I was delighted with how rapidly it heated up. I used the low setting and I got smoothing, lift and curl, who could ask for more but wait ,yes did I mention I got it on sale for $39.99 . I would have been just as happy though if I paid full price. Absolutely the best product I've bought from TSC in awhile!

I have fine curly/frizzy hair which is a constant battle. the Perfecter works like a miracle on my hair, instantly smooths, curls and shines my hair. Love it, trying to figure out how this thing works as I have never had a result like this with any product I have ever owned.

My hair is short and very straight. I was hoping to get better results from this product. I think that if the barrel was smaller it would work better for the shorter hair customers. I just could not get a curl. Have to go back to the curling iron. I purchased two irons for myself and a friend but will be sending them both back.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I've been using this for about a week now and I can understand some of the frustrations with it based on the reviews I've read. However, I should point out that it all depends on how well you use the fusion styler. I have long straight hair and I've been using it to create some really nice curls and it's all about technique. It's difficult to describe in writing how to get a curl but I'm sure there are some videos online. The best way I could describe on how to create the curls is by somewhat using the same technique as using a hair straightner to curl your hair. Most of the time, my hair just glides through the fusion styler to create the curl but I'll be honest, I've also gotten it suck. But like I said, it's all about technique. My mother has short hair and she just mostly uses it as a comb to remove those unsightly pumps and just creates a cute flip towards the end. I've tried showing her to create the curls but she still can't get it. It just takes practice.
