Not happy this time

Because I found this necklace far too heavy for me to wear, as was the 7 pc. Stardust Bangle also much too large and heavy for me, and therefore not having worn either item, I returned both. I already knew I wouldn't receive a refund on my Shipping & Handling cost plus 13% tax, but having just reviewed my Visa Statement, found I was charged a further $10.00 on the Refund which I couldn't account for. A call to TSC Customer Service revealed that a further $5.00 for each item was deducted from my Refund even though they were returned as received in the one original small plastic packet, and this charge was described to me as a "re-stocking fee". Having been a long-time TSC customer and happy with many purchases over the years I've rarely returned items, but in future it will be a case of "Buyer Beware" for me because of this new fee which I think is rather unfair, unless perhaps one happens to be someone who constantly returns purchases. How do we know if something will fit when the sizes are sometimes misleading, especially in clothing and it's not possible to exchange because it's out of stock, etc? I'll be very cautious about buying in the future.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
