Love this necklace and would also be nice to have longer version of it.

Very Nice

By Sam

While I loved this necklace online and when I received it, but one thing that the online version did not show was the clasp. I would have kept this but even a child would have trouble with the clasp it was so small it was near impossible to open and close. Jewellery should be easy on and off. So this was returned only for that reason.

Disappointing....

I ordered this piece in garnet, aware of the small clasp issue. I was just going to change it, but really, how chintzy. The overall concept of the necklace is a great idea. At first glance, I loved it. Now I wasn't expecting total perfection in the pearl, but the one on this necklace had flaws showing no matter which way I rotated it. I expected better for my money. Back it goes.

skimped on gold

I agree with the previous review.

I doubt if a baby's chain would have such a tiny clasp.

I have put my own clasp on it & because of the reduced price I am keeping it.

Too bad such a lousy clasp was put on a pretty necklace.

Last time I'll order from this line ....

OMG, I have given Carol Brodie so many chances to prove herself as she can surely talk the talk, brag, brag, brag about herself, who she's worked for and what celebrities she's accessorized. It's all talk or she hasn't learned anything except how to cut corners. I've ordered at least four pieces from this line and have returned each item! They all look and feel like cheap costume jewellery! I read where one woman actually had her piece appraised and the black spinnel was fake!! I ordered the red garnet necklace. I do like it, however, the garnet stones are really tiny. I expected a little larger. That wasn't the problem. I would keep it, except the clasp - she couldn't have done anything any cheaper. The spring ring closure is only about an 1/8th of an inch which makes it almost impossible to do up. Again, her item is being returned and I refuse to watch any more of her shows. When you listen to her, you'd think she is selling the most magnificent pieces, however, they've always been a disappointment. If you're going to sell low end products, let the price reflect that. None of the pieces I've purchased were worth the money.
