Choker: 12 to 13 inches in length

Choker necklaces are made up of one to three or more strands and lie snugly in the middle of your neck. This luxurious look is very Victorian and goes best with off-the-shoulder or elegant V-neck fashions.

Collar: 14 to 16 inches in length

A classic length that accents virtually any outfit and compliments all necklines. This is the most versatile of all single strand lengths.

Princess: 17 to 19 inches in length

The princess length necklace is best suited for crew and high necklines. It also compliments low plunging necklines. It's perfect support for a pendant or enhancer.

Matinee: 20 to 24 inches in length

Longer than the princess, and just a bit shorter than an opera length, the matinee necklace is the right choice for casual or business dressing.

Opera: 28 to 34 inches in length

The opera necklace is the queen of all lengths. When worn as a single strand, it is refined and perfect for high or crew necklines. When doubled upon itself, it serves as a versatile two strand collar.

Rope: 40 inches and over in length

Dripping with elegance the rope necklace was a favourite of Coco Chanel. Wrap it to create multi-strand necklaces and bracelets or double it around your waist for a slimming effect.

By Shaffu

I have bought this necklace before. This time around, wanted to gift it to a dear friend. Must say, the packing is MUCH MUCH better and the necklace is al lovely as before. Glad I did this again! The stones are nice...no chips and the chain is strong.

Pretty piece

By gemstone lover

This is a pretty necklace and goes with everything. Looks great doubled up . I have also tried putting a pendat of my own with it and have received complimants on the length and overall look. Price is fine since tourmaline stones are supposed to be expensive. Packaging could be improved.

I kept Mine

By P. E.

I too thought that the box was ridiculous for the product. The box is huge, the necklace was not secure in the box, and the necklace was tossed all around in shipping. My first impression was disappointment. Then, I told myself that it was tourmaline, which is expensive, and I love tourmaline. I convinced myself that it is pretty which is somewhat true. One stone is missing a section and some stones are cracked. This is certainly not the level of quality that Ms Brodie was boasting about. I wear the necklace regularly and I do like it, but for the quality of the stones, I believe that I over-paid.

Not good enough..

By Liz

All Star Reviewer

wanted a tourmaline necklace but thanks to other reviewers I looked at it more closely and I too found a chipped stone and saw that the quality was inconsistent. This is also the most over packaged item I have ever purchased and could see it maybe for something more expensive if the presentation was thoughtful but this arrived loose and maybe as the other reviewer said was previously returned.

Multi tourmaline necklace

Lovely colours and goes with everything I wear. I have not taken it out since I bought it! Tourmaline is an expensive stone generally. So this necklace is very reasonably priced.

Very disappointed!

By Not pleased with this purchase!

from Regina

Silver Reviewer

I ordered two of these necklaces hoping to get one good one. One necklace had a broken clasp and broken beads: the other one had a bead half the size of the rest and also some cracked beads. The colours were good but the quality of the beads and the construction of the necklace was very poor. Also, the necklaces I received were not properly packaged..they were loose in the boxes and one had a plastic bag in the box but the necklace was not in it. They both looked like someone had returned them as defective and they were just resold.

DISAPPOINTED!!

By G

I WAS DISAPPOINTED WHEN I OPENED IT. PUT IT AWAY FOR TWO HOURS AND TRIED AGAIN. STILL DISAPPOINTED. CHAIN ROUGH - WOULD CATCH ON SWEATERS (NOT TO MENTION MY SKIN) AND BEADS WAY TOO SMALL. EVEN AT INTRODUCTORY PRICE - IT COST TOO MUCH. RETURNED. MAY I MENTION THE PACKAGING. FOUND IT EXTRAVAGANT FOR THE ITEM. WOULD RATHER NO PACKAGING THEN TO FILL THE LANDSITES WITH BOXES. THIS IS NOT CHEAP PACKAGING - SO, GUESS WHO IS PAYING FOR IT - WE ARE - MIGHT WANT TO RE-THINK THIS FEATURE.
