Rarities Fine Jewellery with Carol Brodie Carved Tiger Eye & Multi Gemstone Sterling Silver & Gold Plate Ring

I purchased this ring in another color design and have worn it many times. Have had many compliments every time I wear it. The stones sparkle and have had people come accross the room to grab my hand. Exceptional value for the price point, and a nice addition to my extensive Carol Brodie collection.

After several very satisfying purchases from the Rarities line, this is the second item that I've had a problem with from the December presentation. This ring, like all Carol's pieces is lovely and eye-catching and I had initially decided to keep it. A couple days after receiving it, I decided I was going to wear it that morning. The last thing I do is put on my jewellery. I retrieved it from it's box and admired it. As I was leaving , I went to reach for the light switch, felt something on the back of my hand and realized the entire tiger eye center stone was on the carpet at my feet. The sodder on one prong had failed and it was enough to release the stone. So I never even got to wear it. So back it goes with another piece that I'm not willing to take a chance on now. I love this line but the quality control seems to have fallen by the wayside with the last offerings. Please Carol don't let the quality become the "rarity."
