Sterling Silver Opal & Blue Sapphire Ring

I ordered the ring in size 7, it was more like a size 8. I liked the brilliance of the little sapphires, they sparkle especially under the sun. As for the opal.... I was disappointed as it was translucent, rather than a milky tone, and it had more of a green hue than blue. Extremely light in silver weight - you literally do not feel you are wearing a ring.
Despite its small size, it actually makes a (quiet) statement in your hand. I hesitated several days, pondering the pros and cons. I finally returned it - not enough blue for my taste and not enough silver for the price.

beautiful jewel, fits well on the finger, the colours in the opal are numerous and fiery, sits perfectly on the finger, the sapphires are a luminous blue, the silverwork on the shank very well done.

Really happy to get an affordable ring that I can wear every day (I'm allergic to the cheap metal). I love the blue colours and the opal is very neat to look at - even a student of mine looked at it and asked.. 'what colour is that?'
Very comfortable to wear for someone who doesn't wear a lot of jewellery.

I really like the colour of the opal and its not a dull stone. It really goes well with the side stones of the sapphire. I would like to see a bracelet done with the opal.

I paid full price for this ring and it was worth every cent! It looks more expensive and the colours are just addictive. Gorgeous ring!
