No Slip Rug Stop

I was not impressed with this item. The bedroom smelled awful for a week, even with the window open and air freshener.

This was purchased to use under an area rug on a hardwood floor. The rug still shifts, however. The price was ok but it was not worth it to return.

When I first opened the package containing the rug stop my nose was assaulted by a horrible chemical spell. I put the rug stop on the clothesline outside to air out all night. By morning the smell was gone.
The rug stop does an excellent job of holding the rugs in place.

There is definitely no problem using this on a hardwood or vinyl floor under wool rugs.

While these may well work under rugs on hardwood or tile, they certainly do not work at all under rugs on carpet. Purchased six & ended up giving them away.
