Sam Edelman Baxton Ballet Flat

I find few ballerina flats to be really comfortable to spend much walking time in them, including these. For me, the biggest pet peeves of such flats are how low they often cut the front part of the shoe so that the slits of ones toes peek out. And whether the edging on the cut is so stiff for support that every step you take, the edging digs across the front of your foot. Fortunately these Baxton flats do not come quite that low, so no toes peeking out. A plus there. No digging. There is also above average padding on the bottom of these which make them more comfortable. The patent front on the black gives a nice two-tone effect. A little dressier looking. These are not highly elasticized around, so at times I find the backs of my feet slipping up, but as the feet swell during the day it stops. Cute with leggings and capris. Can't recommend because I find ballet flats too hard to fit.
