Sigal Style Jade & Ruby Sterling Silver & Rhodium Plate Ring

I ordered it at first in size 8, at full price. I had to return it because it was soooo big I could almost have worn it on my thumb! Then the price came down so I re-ordered it in size 7. Well, the so-called 'size 7' is a size 8, despite the size written on the box and on the bill, but I decided to keep it anyway and just wear it on another finger than previously expected. The stone is smooth, no pot holes in it, and the color is exactly as shown on the picture. The rubies are very tiny, so tiny you would think they are paint spots! I do not know if it has to do with the fact that it is rhodium plated (my 1st purchase in r-plated), which seems to make the metal slippery-ish, or the fact that the ring band is a tad narrow for the size of the gemstone, but in any case it tends to swirl around the finger. A keeper nonetheless.

I had ordered this ring before at the original price but returned it as I also ordered another red jade ring from another supplier and told myself I didn't need two. But when I saw this ring on sale I reordered it and am so glad I did. It is a lovely ring, very smooth top, no pot marks as appear in the picture. I have about 4 of David's rings and love them all. Execellent quality and price. Keep up the good work David.

I ordered a size 7, feels more like an 8. the ring is pretty basic, which is fine, nothing really outstanding in it's appearance or quality. The jade is a nice cherry colour, the rubies are very insignificant.There are rough pieces in the under-gallery that scrape my knuckle when I take it off, which is annoying. I can't say I'd buy any other Sigal pieces in future.

from the picture on the web I was a little hesitant to purchase as it appears the jade has pot holes in it. Pleasantly surprised - the surface of the jade is smooth. For those of you who like larger rings, I would recommend looking at this one.
