Silk Impressions Blanket

This blanket is 100% silk luxury. I can't wait until bedtime and I definitely don't want to get out of bed when it's time to get up in the morning...and it totally reminds me of my baby silk blanket...I love it :)

This is the nicest blanket ever. It is so warm on a cold winter's night, but not the least bit too heavy; with a bedspread over it, it is all I need. As it is breathable I expect I will also enjoy it, minus the bedspread, in all but the hottest summer weather. I bought a beautiful Silk Impressions throw as well, and consider this to be a high quality line.

I love the blanket which is everything I expected but for one small detail, how does one stop it sliding off the sheet and taking everythning else with it? If anyone has a solution, please share it.

This blanket gives warmth, despite its lightness. Great! Also, due to its non-bulkiness, it is easy to launder in the washing machine. Highly recommend it!

The problem of me sweating and my husband freezing is now a thing of the past. I can't sleep without an open window and perhaps even a small fan blowing. Yes, even in the winter here on the West Coast. No more having an extra blanket for 30 seconds, then tossing it on the floor or my husband stacking extra blankets on his side of the bed.

The first night, I just had the silk quilt on. Perfect sleep. Thought I would now try it with a cotton duvet cover so the quilt stays clean. Still a perfect temperature and wonderful sleep. The old quilt was too warm with a duvet and not warm enough without one. Extra blankets are extra weight and as my mom and I discovered, sore feet can be caused by too much quilt weight all night, especially for back-sleepers. Think of those poor toes being bent all night or even half the night from the in-step down.

Hubby always teases me about doing so much of my shopping on TSC, but purchases like this he is very pleased about. I hope you get more at Showstopper pricing as I would purchase one for each of my daughters as a special gift.

Received my blanket, aired it out, as it had a chemical smell to it, could not wait to wrap up with it, and it is the BEST blanket I ever had. Soft and snuggley, also light weight.

Would like the bed sheets and to go with it!

This blanket is very soft, light weight and cozy. When I removed it from the packaging, it did have a slight odour and a lot of static electricity. I aired it outside for a while and the odour disappeared and the static electricity gradually dissipated over a few days. I am now very pleased with this blanket and my husband loves it. We especially like the light weight warmth.

Received my blanket today and I rushed to remake my bed. This is luxury at an affordable price. I purchased the KING size for my QUEEN sized bed and I am happy I did. It gives better coverage than a queen blanket without extra material "dragging" along the floor.

It is incredibly soft,light weight and without any noticable odor as noted by other reviewers. So cozy and toasty warm. If TSC ever sells a sheet set from this line I may never get out of bed again!

Just a heads up to the presenter. She claims the blanket has a silk border. On the label it states the border is Polyester. Otherwise this blanket is perfect and I can't wait to place it on my bed and be enveloped in softness and warmth without weight.
