Great Value for Price
from Pickering (Ontario)
Don't you love it when a product exceeds your expectations?! I have been wanting to try a sonic facial brush for ages! They are now available at any price point - and Silk'n price is very competitive. Here are some features to consider: waterproof (can/will you use it in the shower), sonic vibration vs oscillation, battery vs charger cradle, and variety (and availability) of brush heads. The Silk'n DermBeaute vibrates (the whole brush vibrates). The only one with the oscillation is the high-end brush, but it's also very expensive to buy and also for its replacement heads. I ordered my DermBeaute as part of November's ShowStopper and am SO happy with it. It could not be easier and more ergonomic - but read the instructions. There are so many brush-heads available with this set - it becomes a home-spa multi-tasker. The heads are exceptionally easy to change. You don't need a whole separate device for increasing absorption of creams like with other brands. The 3-pronged soft-tip micro-massage head is magic - my fave use is to gently circle the occipital bone moving towards the nose under the eye area (which increases lymphatic drainage and does not stress the delicate eye muscles). Follow the bone and don't apply pressure. I'm sharing this because it's an incredibly relaxing face massage for anyone! I love the peeling brush as well - it's great for the slightly rough skin on my neck and as a once-a-week facial (if you have thin or delicate skin you can use the extra soft as your daily brush and normal as your peeling brush). I haven't yet found my perfect uses for the extra-soft or activation heads. The real reason for sonic brushes is deep daily cleansing - and my skin felt cleaner and more smooth from the first time I used it. You feel the vibration in the brush tips without any pressure at all - and it's comfortable and relaxing to use. I had to learn to put no pressure on the unit. It creates beautiful lather even with my low-lather cleanser. Skin feels great and looks smoother, more radiant and is perfectly prepared to absorb serums, creams, or light therapy. I see a difference in my skin after only one week.My concern and hope is that the brush head replacements will be easily and regularly available through TSC. I would love it more if it had its own charger and oscillated, but it is exceptional value for money! Hope this helped you!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
