Épilateur Flash & Go Silk'n

I bought this product at the end of November and have used it regularly since. In fact, they say to use it every 2 weeks in the beginning, but for certain areas I use it every week (not sure if this makes a difference). I've always struggled with facial hair growth. I've tried everything from laser, to electrolysis, to waxing, shaving and threading and even tried the No no device. Only thing that came close to working was electrolysis, but for financial reasons I just couldn't continue the treatments (I was going 3/week for 3 hour sessions each). So far, I believe this product works. My hair still grows back but the hair is finer and there are a lot of patches where there is no hair. So far I'm content with this purchase. Fyi, for anyone concerned if it will work on their skin tone, my skin complexion is light brown (east indian decent) and it works fine. Hope this helps :)

i bought this product in september. i have used it properly since then, however, it is not working. i have been only focusing on my armpits before i decided to try it out elsewhere. my growth has not changed at all, i shave it one day, the next day there is growth. very frustrating.

I've been using mine for 6 months and its working!!! Ladies just be patient, you will see results!!

ALTHOUGH THE PRODUCT WORKS, I CAN NOT RECOMMEND A BUY DUE TO THE UNAVAILABILIY OF THE BATTERIES.

I have to agree with the previous review, it is very annoying that TSC sells a unit and does not keep the cartridges in stock. You are suppose to use it every 2 weeks, but the next available date for the cartidge is mid October. Are you suppose to start all over again after 6 weeks of no treatments?

How can you give this device a fair chance to see it works when you cant complete your treatments on the schedule given by the manufacturer?

It makes no sense TSC gives you 60 days to try it to see if it works but you can not use it because cartridges are not available.

Since purchasing the unit as a showstopper a few months ago, it's been the best device among the slew of devices I've ever tried.

However, when I tried to reorder the essential replacement cartridges today, customer service said they only restock the cartridges when there's a live airing, and that's not in the near future, but that I should try the Silk'n website. Seriously?????

I tried to explain that the device has to be used on a schedule of every 2-4wks, and without the cartridges well..... Why sell a product and not the essential replacement parts??????????

Just to update my previous comment re TSC not restocking repalcement lamp cartridges.

Called Silk'n customer service @ silk'n.com. They provide excellent service, and instructions re customizing schedule of use for optimal results etc. not given with original instructions - highly recommend contacting with any questions.

Also, if you register your unit w/serial number, you'll receive a $35 coupon toward any purchase from Silk'n.

Just a word of advice: everyone is different, but no one can cover their entire underarm area with three flashes. It takes about 16 or 18 per underarm to properly cover the entire area. My underarms are almost hairless now. Legs can take fifty flashes per leg to do a complete job. My legs are about fifty percent hairfree after two years and the remaining hair on my legs is half as coarse and dark as it once was. Yes it works, but takes persistance and the cartridges are still expensive. I have recommended to all my friends because some things are worth paying and waiting for. I will never have to shave under my arms ever again.

I have used another supposed permanent hair removal system,and Silk'n Flash beats it hands down. I didn't notice much change with the other system but this one made a big difference after only 2 months; I am almost completely hairfree.

I have been using this for the last three months as directed. I have very light skin and should be the perfect candidate for using this. I have seen no changes during this time. The booklet states it can take up to 2 years to remove all the hair. Does it work? Ask me in 2 years.
