Carved Cinnabar Marquise Shaped Sterling Silver Ring

As I am sure you have gathered by now, I love this ring. It is gorgeous and I have worn it several times already and had comments on it every time. I love big rings as this one is but it is not bulky or heavy and is certainly not garish. I usually love the sparkly stones but the size and workmanship on this makes up for no real sparkle. It has a sparkle all its own

This ring is very pretty, workmanship is good, the cinnabar is a beautiful deep red (no brownish tones)but because of the length it tends not to want to lay flat on your finger. As soon as you bend your fingers, immediately one end of the ring is sticking up in the air and you must push it down against your finger. I know the designer of this line likes to make large rings for the impact statement, but when it is this long she lost something in the actual ability to wear it comfortably unfortunately. It would have been much more practical to have kept the length under one inch. I own dozens and dozens of pieces from this line and have always been very happy with them. The only reason I will keep this ring is that I have a pendant that it matches, otherwise it would be going back to TSC. I hope Sajen reads this review and keeps in mind that not all rings need to be over an inch to be an impact ring......

Distinctive with wow appeal for sure. We gave this to our daughter for her 21st birthday and although I was not sure how she would feel about wearing such an austentatious piece, she was won over by its beauty. Not for every hand, this ring may be best suited to a long, tapered and slender finger. Absolutely stunning and I want one for myself!
