Simon Chang, as sole creator, designer, president and owner of Simon Chang Concepts Inc. is one of the busiest and most popular figures in Canada's fashion world, known for his fashion forward, trendy yet wearable designs.
As a busy designer/entrepreneur, Chang fully understands modern women and their lifestyles, offering designs that combine European flair with North American practicality. Raised in Vancouver of Chinese descent, he studied at the prestigious Emily Carr Institute of Arts on a full scholarship, and started his career in graphic design and photography, with elements like a fondness for graphic prints and an eye for detail that still show up in his work. While he travels extensively to source materials and fabrics, his home base is in Montreal's fashion district.
In the midst of a busy and productive life, this Canadian fashion icon feels blessed, and gives back to the community via his Foundation that funds causes dear to him - and his customers - from medical research to social relief.
