Overpriced but worth it
from Surrey, BC
Ok...so 160.00 is a lot. I suspect they dont need to cost that much when they are not even made in Canada. However...it terms of fit and function, I think these pants are wonderful. I am an owner of Lululemons as well.SinceI have discovered the Spanx..this will be my new go to pant. Yes...I would agree the fit is tight..but my butt has never looked so perky and my thighs so smooth. For the record, I am a curvy size 14 and these pants fit like they were made for me.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comfort and great support.

I purchased these along with a few other items and was pleasantly surprised by how the feel on! I was worried they would be too constricting, and they are not. The wash and wear very well, and still look new even though I wear them all the time!

In the middle
By Lolo the shopper
These pants are expensive. Once again, I don't feel that the price is justified. As for the cut, the "bagel buster" sits a bit too low and then you have the material underneath that sits high on the waist which looks like you're wearing high waisted underwear under a low rise pant. I do alot of free weights and as soon as I lift my arms, there's the look of what appears to be underwear sticking out. Why not simply sew everything together. When doing floor exercises, the "bagel buster" part droops a bit. The fabric is quite thick and something they put in there (dye perhaps) has a strong smell that I think will take several more washes to come out. Bottom line, I don't dislike the pant and I will wear it but it's not perfect and I feel the price point should be one half to two thirds of what it is.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not the compression I was looking for!
I bought these thinking they would have good compression to flatten lower tummy area. I bought both my regular size and also went up one size as they noted on air to go up one as they fit small. First, my regular size fit just fine. There is tons of stretch in these pants. Unless you are a very large woman, possibly not. I am petitie 5'2" in good shape, just have baby belly that never truly left and I just wanted to flatten out the muffin top (lower belly area). I got better compression from a Spanx swimsuit I had from 3 years ago! The material is nice and weighty, comfortable. However, the extra waistband only goes up higher and keeps you from falling out over the waistband, but I certainly did not think I looked any slimmer looking at myself sideways in a mirror. If anything, there was more bulk my slim fitting tank from Spanx had to go over and I looked bulkier. I rate it a 3 because it does not do what they say it will. I will possibly send back and think about the compression pant Spanx has recently launched.

I struggled to get into these pants they were so tight. I had ordered a size up and so double checked to see that I had received the size I ordered; I had. These pants create the dreaded muffin top.

These are made so small! I could barely get them off. Very disappointed. On their way back.

I like the other reviewer saw there was no size chart for these so I went to Spanx's website as well. I heard Mo say over and over again go with your regular size and I am a medium and the size chart on their website said I was a medium. I got these yesterday and they were super tight but, I wore them around the house for a bit and it never stretched out enough for me to be comfortable. I know Spanx is meant to hold you in but I would like to be able to breathe in them. The top of the belly buster even rolled down a bit and I tried moving it lower or a bit higher and the same result. I like the idea of these pants but very dissapointed in these. If I had known to get the large maybe I would have had better luck but I bought these for my trip to California this weekend and will not have time to reorder. If you get your correct size you may have better luck than I did.

TSC did not have the size chart, went to Spanx website and order accordingly, WAY OFF! I am on the low side of the size small size chart and they are too tight, look awful! I would guess I would need to size up at least 1 to 2 sizes. I will stick to my LULU's, Spanx has become a huge disappointment in recent years, still wearing products I bought 5+ years ago but the ones recently bought are either a disappointment or falling apart! Not worth the sale price let alone the full price, I will be returning. SAD .. was looking forward to a comfortable outfit for soccer playoffs this weekend.
