Sterling Silver Double Ribbon Omega Bracelet

Although I have been very pleased with all of my other Splendido purchases, this ribbon gold plated bracelet did not match the quality of other pieces from this line of jewellery. The colour was lovely but just looking at the construction I doubt that this bracelet could take regular wear. It is also worth noting that several TSC reviews on the matching necklace make reference to this particular bracelet's tendency toward breakage/fraying. So with all these cautionary points in mind I opted to return the bracelet immediately upon receiving it. It was simply by chance that I found the negative reviewer comments and only after I had already placed my order. The bracelet was to be a holiday gift for a family member. The price was extremely attractive but I would have felt badly giving a holiday gift with potential construction flaws. I am now out the cost of shipping and handling which is always a source of frustration.
