ok but ...

I was looking for a single serve coffee maker that I could use to make hot chocolate with. I do not drink coffee. It heated up the water quickly, my mug fit underneath well, no messy water all over the place, but it did not turn off when the water was all drained from the top. I was concerned that if the area over heated a fire could be started. It was not supposed to do this. I returned it, but it was sold out and could not get it replaced.I had to purchase a different model and make and was less happy with the exchange. It ended up as an expense lesson, when you have to pay the restocking fee of $5.00.

I have been using a sunbeam hot water dispenser for years and years now and loved it. I have gone through 2 of them and this is my third. Well I was VERY dissappointed when I got this home and went to put my large mug underneath and it would not fit, They made where your mug goes shorter and also the front lever used to be where you pressed to heat up the water so after years of doing that before I now press that out of habit and pour water all over my counter. Well I am getting used to pressing a button on the top of the machine to heat the water now but could not get used to my smaller coffee cup :( SO... I got my husband to take the machine into his workshop and cut out the bottom just enough for me to slide my mug under. I am happy now that it fits but wish sunbeam would have left well enough alone. I am on the look out for another brand that suits my needs better and then this one will be off to the recycler. Thank goodness it was free shipping and cheap to purchase.
