Will stay on the counter :)
very fast delivery and I used it only once with red shreder. It is not perfect but by far exceeds manual labour and since I like fresh veggies that is where is going to stay on the counter

Great Little Machine t Fal Slicer
By Cookie the techie
Received this little kitchen marvel last week. Let's start with what you shouldn't do with it: it does not work with: celery or softer type cheeses ie: old cheddar, everything else I put through it worked great. Potatoes: WOW, we have made the scalloped potatoes like the host did on TSC, it was wonderful. We made french fries with the free blade, again excellent. We shredded regular cheddar cheese and you wouldn't believe how well it works for that, you get over a cup of shredded cheese from a 1/2" square x 4" slice! And shredded carrots, sliced cucumber, apples! Buy it, try it, love it! It's from France what's not to love!
from Mississauga, Ontario
Being a big cheese lover, I grate cheese in a large container and always keep it on hand. For exotic cheeses, I grate or slice right on the food, which is why this machine is so great. The cones are easily cleaned after every use and the whole machine is easy to use. Sometimes food can get caught between the cone and the holder but it is not a problem, just leave it and remove when finished slicing or grating. The small chute is fine and carrots, celery, radishes, etc all fit in. It's not a big deal to cut cabbage and bigger produce to fit. I love making coleslaw with Fresh Express. I bought this with the bonus cone and on sale the first time it was on. Well worth the price!
OK so far

I got this to replace my HUGE food processor which was too heavy and bulky for just grating cheese. So far, it works well. It's light and easy to store, and no more grating my knuckles. Only reason for three stars is the price, but I've had good luck with T-fal products in the past.
Works for me!
I love this gadget - use it nearly every day for shredding cabbage/carrots for cole slaw (only I use the slicing cone for this), shredding carrots/zucchini for salads, slicing cucumbers/carrots/parsnips, etc., grating cheese, chocolate and use the bonus cone for beets/potatoes/turnips/parsnips/carrots for soup - all of this in minutes if not seconds. It has a small footprint, is not heavy and stays handily out of the way especially since the cord winds into the back of it. Yes, occasionally there is jamming into the cones but this is quickly remedied and cleanup is a snap. I had been looking for a long time for a cheese grater that really works - this one has it in spades. I only wish it had a cone that did julienne strips (my reason for the #4 rating) - then it would be ideal!

Needs some work
It's a great idea but needs some updating. Purchased this product due to arthritic hands & although it does what it says, the feeder tube is so small you have to cut up everything small anyways.Veggies get stuck in the cone & are not very attractive for your presentation. If you have a veggie chopper or mandalin you do not need this gadget which,by the way, is not cheap.
