Duo de lime à ongles pour contour T.I.P.S.

I wore artificial nails for over 30 years. In January 2012 I decided to go natural again. I used at least 4 products I purchased at the drugstore and nothing worked to strengthen my nails or prevent peeling and breaking. In fact they got worse. Finally I tried T.I.P.S starting in June. By following the directions, I saw an unbelievable improvement in my nails. By the end of July, they were in better condition than they have ever been; strong, growing, flexible and no cracks or breaking! I have to cut them every week now. I am on my second bottle and will use it forever.

I gave this 4 stars because I have tried this file as it came with the first kit I bought a year ago. As a result of reading other reviews on here I now think I will dig it out and give it another try. I was having a hard time using it so I gave up on it. Thanks for your reviews and step by step instructions people...I will give it another chance :)

Finely someone made a contour file. My nails are arched not flat. Using a flat nail file just doesn't work on the under side of my nails. I use to take and peel off the emery paper off a file and wrap it around a pencil and use it to file under my nail. Thank Heavens I don't have to go to all that trouble again since I found T.I.P.S contour file. It's not meant to replace a regular file but to be used with one. I just love it. If there is anything I would change it would be to have it a little more abrasive. not much just a little.

I think this nail file is great and I agree with the previous review about using it after my crystal nail file. On it's own, this file will not be able to do a bigger filing job. This file is more suitable for touch ups and sealing. If you are filing down a nail that has cracked or split, you'll be filing for a very long time, so make sure you use your crystal file first and then finish it all up with this nail file!

I love how smooth and shiny my nails are when I've used this. It makes my nails look and feel healthy.

I was reading the other reviews and understand their opinions; I'll explain how I use it and how it works so well for me. My nails were always splitting. I was using a crystal nail file (the great one offered by tsc)along with the T.I.P.S. oil but my fore and middle finger nails on my right hand were still splitting after 2 months. After watching the demo during the visit from Ask again I was thinking about how the lady was repeating the words "seals your nails". I then started using the metal file after my crystal file and VIOLA! Finally my 2 trouble nails stopped splitting. The metal file is so fine that the tips of my nails were actually shiny,smooth and sealed; something that I never noticed with my other file. Try it and see if it happens for you too, I am crazy happy with the results :)

It takes too long to file my nails with this file because it's just too smooth. Crystal nail files are the way to go.

I like the shape and it is great for filing under your nails for sure. BUT, it is too smooth. It takes forever to file your nails so I gave up on it.

I love TIPS nail file. This nail file has an unusual shape and surprisingly smooth surface but it works wonders. The narrow tip is great for filing underneath the nails while the inside of the contour part works well with the curves of the nails. I can hold and handle the nail file very comfortably with either hand and do not need to apply much pressure on it to get nice smooth nails.

You really don't need two of them since the nail file does not wear off. I have had mine since TIPS was first introduced on TSC 10 years ago. But you can surely give one to a friend. She will love it too.
