T.I.P.S. Contour File

I was waiting so long to receive this file but to my surprise got absolutely different product which I did not order. I don't know if people from TSC are reading the reviews (they should but I doubt) but I should say customer service definitely went down

Bought this about 6 years ago and loved it so much that I got another one for my mum who loves it also.

I like the fact that you can file above and below the nail so there are no sharp edges and grooves to cause snagging or chipping of the nail. Plus it smoothen out the ridges on top of my nail. I like the fact that it is very gentle... The oil is fabulous too, but that's another product! :)

I thought this was a not so great nail file until I saw Karen telling us how to use it!!
Now that I know how to use it, I am so glad because it is the best thing for rough edged nails or a nail with a ragged edge. I just smooth my nail against the file and because the file has such a gentle surface, it smooths out my nail without whittling down the length.
As Karen described there are two different ways to hold your nail against the file for round or square shaped nails--once I got the hang of it, it does do a fantastic job!!
This file is not made of heavy metal-and once I got used to the concept of it, I feel it is easy to handle and one of those must have beauty tools!

I love Tips for nails especially the polish remover not crazy about the nail polish colors. But this file, I do not like it. I bought this file a while back and it sits in my bathroom cabinet, unused. It doesn't do a good job filing my nails at all and I find it cumbersome. Maybe I'm not using it right but I don't think so. I watched the host each time she was on TSC to see her demo to make sure that I am using it properly, but it still does not work for me. I really don't want to give this a bad rating because it may be just me knowing how to use the product.

I like it as = super "tool" working with precision.

HAVE USED THIS FOR YEARS AND ALWAYS HAVE ONE STACHED FOR BACK UP FOR WHEN IT'S BORROWED AND DOESN'T COME BACK. ONLY FILE I CAN USE AND NOT HAVE NAILS BREAK

I have purchsed this file before this time. It was fabulous. I bought it again before Christmas and it has changed. It is not rough enough on the top. I'm glad I had one from before, because I was not happy with the new design (if it is a new design) of the latest one. I would not recommend this to anyone at this time until they change it back to where it was before.

I cannot say enough good things about this nail file. I use it everyday and absolutely love it. It's the best file I've ever used.
