The Monitor500 can push out 1000 watts peak power. Each speaker holds one 3" tweeter and one 5" woofer. One speaker is powered and the other one is passive. This means that the one powered speaker can also power the passive speaker. There is no need for an additional amplifier! The inputs on the powered speaker consist of standard RCA, an input for an SD Card and a USB flash drive, and an MP3 input. This will allow you to plug in your iPod or USB flash drive and play music without any additional connections or equipment!
The added USB flash drive and SD Card lets you carry around thousands of .mp3, .wav or .wma audio files in the palm of your hand. Simply copy the files onto the USB flash drive/SD Card and connect it to the Monitor500 to automatically begin playing the files, all while keeping your laptop perfectly safe.
