2015 $20 Fine Silver Coin North American Sportfish (Set of 4 Coins) - Auto Delivery Program

With an extremely low mintage of just 6,500 coins, this new subscription collection of $20 fine silver North American Sportfish coins has been extremely popular, and quickly sold out from the Royal Canadian Mint.  

The first coin in the series features a largemouth bass, and will be shipped immediately when you place your order. The design by Curtis Atwater presents a dynamic portrait of a largemouth bass as it leaps from a lake. Its large mouth is open wide, displaying its lower jaw. The fish's scales, fin and the spraying water are intricately engraved and bring the imagery to life. Edge lettering is an additional feature of these coins, with a repeating pattern of "9999 Fine Silver 1 oz" along the edge of the coin. Each coin is priced at $99.95.

Additional coins will be released about every second month. The remaining three coins will feature the Northern Pike, Rainbow Trout, and Walleye. 

Each coin is double struck with the Royal Canadian Mint's highest quality proof finish, and weighs just over one full ounce of .9999 fine silver. As pure silver coins issued by the Royal Canadian Mint, each coin in this subscription is HST / GST exempt.

About the Largemouth Bass:
The largemouth bass is arguably the most popular sportfish. They get their name from their large mouths, which extend past their eyes. They can grow over two feet long and weigh up to 20 pounds, although a five pound largemouth is considered very big. They are usually dark green in color with greenish to yellow sides. They have a dark stripe down the side of the body. 
 
Largemouth Bass live in lakes, ponds, large rivers, and slow-moving streams. Largemouths will often school and can be found around underwater structures. They will usually come into the shallows to feed in the early morning and in evenings.
