This collection includes fifteen different highly collectible banknotes spanning from 1900 to 1974, showcasing nearly a century of changes to Canada's currency. The collection includes all three discontinued denominations: the 25 cent note as well as the $1 and $2 denominations. Notes from the beautiful 1937 allegorical design reverse series are included, as well as the complete set of 1954 denominations from the $1 to $20, plus 1967 Centennial issues and two different scarce "replacement" notes issued to replace notes damaged in the printing process. All of the banknotes are presented in a custom album.

Notes range from 39 to 113 years old (as of 2013)

1. 1900 25 cent note - "shinplaster", introduced in 1900 and discontinued in 1932. Face design features a seated Britannia figure, with trident and shield.
2. 1923 25 cent note - This was Canada's last "shinplaster", introduced in 1923 and discontinued in 1932.  Face design features Britannia figure.

The back vignette portrays the original Centre Block of the Parliament buildings, which was destroyed by fire in 1916. This same picture was used on the face of a $100 bill issued in 1872.
12. 1967 $1 With Serial Number - Fewer examples of this variety were saved by collectors than the double date notes.
13. 1973 $1 note - Face design features Coat of Arms of Canada / Queen Elizabeth, back design features Parliament Hill, across the Ottawa River.
14. 1973 $1 Replacement note - Face design features Coat of Arms of Canada / Queen Elizabeth, back design features Parliament Hill, across the Ottawa River.
