18 Piece "Celebrate the Return of Hockey" Collection

Celebrate the return of hockey with a comprehensive collection of Royal Canadian Mint NHL coins and other collectibles celebrating Canada's national sport. The collection includes 18 different NHL hockey themed collector coins and sets issued by the Royal Canadian Mint and/or Canada Post from 2000 to 2012. All of the sets are in near perfect condition as issued.

(1) Montreal Canadiens 100th Anniversary Coin & Stamp Set
This folder combines a lenticular Souvenir Stamp Sheet showing instant replays of the historic 500th goals of Maurice Richard, Jean Béliveau and Guy Lafleur, a commemorative stamp, plus a lacquered circulation coin featuring the 100th Anniversary logo of the Canadiens.

The Royal Canadian Mint issued a series of special numismatic uncirculated sets featuring all seven coins from the cent to the $2 coin, including one unique low mintage NHL hockey themed $1 coin that was never issued for circulation and cannot be found in any other set. This collection includes Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames. All of the sets include the 1¢, 5¢, 10¢, 25¢, 50¢ and $2 coins, in addition to the coloured $1 team jersey coin.

(1) NHL Mini-Stick & Puck Keychain Set 2009
Vancouver Canucks - The coloured $1 coin is set into a fun mini-puck key chain presentation, together with a 5" long miniature hockey stick.  While the key chain can be removed so games can be played with the puck and stick, many collectors seek this item for the collectible dollar coin. The coin is a high quality numismatic uncirculated strike with a unique design only available in special Royal Canadian Mint collector sets.
 
(2) Winnipeg Jets 50 Cent Collector Coin
As hockey fans celebrated the return of the Winnipeg Jets for the 2011-2012 season, the Royal Canadian Mint produced a unique 50 cent coin in an attractive keepsake souvenir presentation. The coin is double dated 2011 / 2012 and features the newly redesigned team logo, with a strong image of a military jet in the centre. In colour, shades of military blue and silver are enhanced with a touch of maple leaf red. This item is now sold out from the Royal Canadian Mint and can be difficult to find in the secondary market.

(1) Official Royal Canadian Mint/Canada Post All-Stars medallion and stamp set 2003
Includes 6 different RCM medallions featuring the same NHL All-Star players as featured on the 6 different Canada Post stamps, plus an official NHL game puck in a large black embossed display case. Players include Mike Bossy, Raymond Bourque, Bill Durnan, Frank Mahovlich, Stan Mikita and Serge Savard.

(2) Cased Hockey Medallion and stamp sets - This collection includes Bobby Hull & Jean Béliveau
This product also includes a cased presentation medallion struck by the Royal Canadian Mint. The metal case is embossed with the NHL All-Stars logo, and features the both the Royal Canadian Mint medallion and matching postage stamp.
