This set includes two rare consecutive serial numbered Extremely Fine to About Uncirculated 1923 $1notes, Campbell / Sellar signatures.

Face Design: Features a large portrait of King George V
Back Design: Library of Parliament

These notes were issued by the Dominion of Canada from 1923 until 1934 when they were replaced by the new small size Bank of Canada notes

These note come sealed in protective packaging from Canadian Coin & Currency verifying their professional opinion of the grade of the notes and that they are genuine. Both notes are graded as Extremely Fine condition. This grade means that the notes are attractive with bright colours. They can have visible counting bends, the corners are basically sharp.

There is additional collectability and rarity for a consecutive serial numbered pair of notes. These are the type of notes that have historically appreciated in value from 10% to 15% per year for the past 15 years. While there is no guarantee that this trend will continue, there remains strong demand.
