5 Kopek coin
During the reign of Catherine the Great from 1763-1796, Russia issued very large copper 5 Kopek coins. These would have served as an important denomination in everyday transactions of the era. The coins are crudely struck and vary in weight from about 45 grams to 55 grams. The date is encircled by a wreath and a double headed eagle. The two headed eagle symbolizes Russia's geographical location in the middle of Europe and Asia.  The two heads are needed to watch over the two continents to protect Russia's people.

100 Rouble note 1910 - Catherine the Great vignette

The front of the banknote depicts the Coat of Arms of the Russian Empire along with the crown on one side. The back shows the picture of Duchess Tsarina Catherine Ekaterina II (often referred to as "Catherine the Great") and an allegorical man. The water mark is 100 written on the whole note with a Picture of Duchess Tsarina Catherine Ekaterina II at the clear water mark area.
