Breadman Breadmaker

Powerful motor. The colapseable paddle is a great feature. Once I tried this unit I gave my Black & Decker unit to charity.

Great breadmaker! Love it! Made the most delicious bread ever. Some recipe may result an overflow, but still awesome!

Our old breadmaker was grinding to its final loaf so we decided to get the Breadman to replace it. Our first loaf proved to be a problem due to the "difficult to understand" recipe book. However we persevered and realized what went wrong,and it was our fault partially??. Wonderful bread has been happening since and we love the machine. The instructions do need tweaking as they are awkward compared to our other machine. PS: A call to the 800 number was of NO help. I an happy we tried it again rather than just send it back.

I had hoped that the Breadman would make my life easier. I found out otherwise. My first attempt to make a multi-seed break, from the recipe book, failed. The finished product did not look anything like the picture presented. Thinking that I had made a mistake in following the recipe correctly, I attempted to make a second loaf. It too failed. My machine's paddle was unable to completely knead the bread, resulting in an uneven, irregular 'loaf'. I have sent the product back.

I have this breadmaker and I love it. It's light, compact and makes great bread. The recipe book that came with it is full of wonderful recipes and I haven't had one turn out bad yet. The paddle folds down while the bread is baking leaving a much smaller hole in the bread and it usually stays in the machine when you take the bread out. I have nothing negative to say about this breadmaker.
